There's a lot of wild growth in the grounds, grass gone haywire and tree branches looping over one another. A murky pond breaks the picture, yet even it seems green. A driveway goes from the entrance to the door of the mansion.

"I wonder if we have animals..."

::Paige and Azura slowly walk up the path towards the mansion, taking their time.::

"This place is beautiful. So wild and, well, cool!"

:: Azura leans her head against Paige's, glancing around a little. The place is nice, perhaps the grounds could do with a bit of a spruce up, not that it is necessary though.::

"It reminds me a little of home."

:: Except not, cause anywhere she has lived back in England didn't have nature gone arwy.::

::Paige smiles and looks at Azura.::

"You don't like it."

:: Azura stops, pulling away from Paige a little.::

"I did not say that."

"You think it's a mess, don't you?"

::Paige starts laughing.::

"I can see it on your face."

"No... I, no..."

:: Azura goes red, she really does think it's a mess, but she was trying to be nice about it!::

"Pity, I love it like this."

::Paige looks around and takes the scenery in once more.::

"I'll call a gardener."

::She turns and puts her hands on Azura's sides.::

"Anything for my Azura."

:: Azura smiles, her heart being all fluttery, fluttery in her chest. She leans down to kiss Paige in thanks.::

"Okay, Princess. Let's go take a look around your new home."

::She takes Azura's hand and picks up the bag again, walking up to the door.::

::Luke, the stray dog and Petunius arrive at what appears to be a poorly maintained landscape. Nevertheless, he sees the creepy mansion ahead as they tread along the driveway.::

"I'm really not liking the looks of this place. I really, really hope that this isn't your home."

::Petunius looks nervously all around him, trying his best not to look like all this bothered him.::

"Well look at it this way, the last five mansions we tried didn't know me. Hopefully these people won't recognise me either--assuming there are people living here-- and we can get the hell out of here as soon as possible. If only I knew which way the freakin' front door was..."

::And speaking of which, Luke spots the front door.::

"I think I see it."

::Acting on this observation, he leads Petunius there.::

::Luke, the dog and Petunius swiftly make it back to the street entrance.::

::Follows.::

::Paige and Azura walk around outside the building.::

"Okay, so you got the stealthy stuff down. It's amazing. Now. Let's see. Let's try and see if you can use it like a transportation power."

::Stopping, the witch/whitelighter/Source purses her lips, then points to a tree.::

"Merge in with the shadow at that tree, then reappear over by that one as quick as you can."

:: Azura lets go of Paige's hand and walks over to the tree in question. When she didn't have her memories she managed something similar, but she was in a panicked state at the time. She glances at the other tree before she she steps into the shadow of the one in front of her, disappearing into it.::

(Now. Move!)

:: And she does. She falls ungracefully out of another random shadow nowhere near the one she was intending to emerge from.::

::Hearing the sound of one Az falling, Paige whips around and raises her eyebrows.::

"Well, you couldn't have run there that fast."

"No. No. I could not have."

:: Azura rolls over, then pushes herself to her feet. She brushes her clothes off.::

"Still. I came out of the wrong shadow."

(And that hurt.)

:: She rubs her arm lightly. Baby.::

"It's okay - it's gonna take some practice."

::Paige smiles.::

"Try again."

"Okay."

:: With a determind look, Azura steps back into the shadow she fell out of and aims to emerge from the one Paige pointed out as quickly as possible. She almost gets it. Almost. She trips out of one near it, managing to stay on her feet this time. She smiles at Paige.::

"That was intended."

"Oh, I know."

::Paige chuckles.::

"Naturally."

:: Azura smiles a little more, then has an idea.::

"I am definitely going to come out at the right place this time."

:: With another smile, she steps back into the shadow and BAM! Falls out on top of Paige.::

::Paige gives a cry of shock and collapses onto the ground, clutching onto Azura.::

"I..."

::She laughs suddenly.::

"This the right place?"

:: Azura grins, her hair falling down into Paige's face.::

"Yes it is."

::There's a rustling in the bushes.::

:: Azura stops nuzzling into Paige to glance in the direction of the rustling.::

"Did you hear that?"

"Yes."

::Paige quickly gets to her feet, helping Azura up. She makes it clear that she wants complete silence from her girlfriend, then indicates that she use her power. God knows how she does that, I can't think of any understandable way she might do so.::

:: Azura nods, but instead of using her pychic one, which would be the normal thing for her to do, she slips off into the shadows, managing to control her transportation to the bushes. She reappears from the shadow of a rather large tree behind the vampires, and struggles to see who they are in the darkness. Finally she does what she does best and finds out for herself. When she does she crouches down ready to slip back into the shadows.::

::The vampires nudge one another, wondering where Azura went. They start sniffing the air. Then turn around and see her. There's four vampires. And all four of them lunge for the witch.::

::Paige closes her eyes and lets her sensing power roam. It's hugely heightened now, and she can sense any evil beings. She's cool like that.::

(Vampires? Azura, stay hidden, these guys are dangerous.)

:: Too late. There's a scream as Azura tumbles backwards into the shadow, the power kicking in and saving her from being at the bottom of a blood sucking pile. She falls out of a shadow a little bit away from Paige.::

::Paige hears Azura fall and turns, hurrying over to her.::

"I take it the staying hidden thing didn't work too well. You okay?"

::Three vampires careen out of the bushes, speeding towards the two witches, with much hissing.::

:: Azura looks more than mildly freaked out as the vampires rush at them. Understandable when you consider her track record with vampires.::

"I hate these things!"

:: She uses her power on the vampire on the far left, creating an intense, blinding pain in it's head.::

::The vampire screams and falls onto his knees, curling up and clutching at his head. The other two don't falter, rushing at the two still.::

"Don't stop, Az."

::Paige holds up her hands, her fingers spread wide, before putting them together and creating a stratosphere. It only takes her seconds, and she shoots it towards one vampire, capturing it inside. Lifting it into the air, she orbs the third vampire into a tree.::

"You can do it, I know you can."

"I have no intention of stopping."

:: She really doesn't. In fact, she looks fit to murder, thinking about everything she was put through at Cora's hands and channeling it into the pain she is causing the vampire to feel in his head. Azura wants it to be like something he has never felt before, so painful that he'll want to curl up and die.::

::Not only does the vampire want to curl up and die, but he actually does. The vampire lets out a final, agonised scream and bursts into flames. The third vampire, that Paige threw into a tree, doesn't seem fazed by this. She pushes herself back up and charges again, using her flight power to approach at superspeed. The vampire Paige is holding inside the stratosphere hangs there helplessly, unable to do a thing.::

:: Azura is surprised by this, the murderous look disappearing from her face. She... that was her, right? It was. And it gave her such a kick! She grins, but it vanishes, she can sense the other vampire Paige threw somewhere but it's moving that fast she can't see it in the dark. She takes a step back and looks around.::

(Where is it?!)
