A large circular well. Not where the town gets their water supply from, but where they throw witches to see if they are truly foul hags or not.

::The mob approaches, with a restrained Anissa in their grasps.::

"She will recieve no trial."

::One of the more elderly gentlemen of the village calls out, causing a roar of cheering from the crowd. Without much hesitation, they push her into the well.::

::Anissa tries to scrabble away from the mouth of the well, tries to resist being plunged into the dark water, but it's too late. She plummets into the well and lands with a splash. She struggles to free herself from the rope binding her, but can't. Her eyes fill with tears and an anguished cry is muffled by the gag. It's very hard to keep afloat.

Her vision can only see a bright circle of the opening of the well above her head, the heads of the villagers peering down at her. Then it's obscured by the water. She can't move enough to try and swim, and her restraints weigh her down. Slowly, she sinks beneath the surface of the water, her body writihing in effort to prevent what comes next. After a few moments she can't breathe anymore, and with a desperate gulp and plea for air, water gushes down her nose and throat, heading into her lungs. She quickly loses conciousness from the water inhillation and lack of air, and not soon after she finds herself embraced by her chilly watery death.::

::The villagers cheer and whoop as the body of Anissa floats still, face down in the water. She is dead, and they are overjoyed.::

"THE WITCH IS DEAD!"

"THE VILE WHORE IS REMOVED FROM OUR WORLD!"

"KARAOKE IN THE VILLAGE HALL!"

::Clearly in the mood to celebrate, the villagers all form a conga line and dance away.::
