Cape Town, 1684. A small colony of British ownership on the coast. Lots of farming and stuff.

::Ryo looks around at his fellow settlers getting up to face the day. He watches people get food and drink, but doesn't feel like it himself. He sniffs and turns his head towards the jungle that they're close to.::

(I'll hunt. Bring back something good.)

::Picking up a gun, he waves to his friends so they know what he's doing.::

(Love to catch one of those monkeys or something to sit on my shoulder.)

::He smiles and heads to the jungle.::

::Ryo stumbles into the outskirts of town, then pauses, leaning against a post. He looks up at the sign, which read, 'Cape Town.'::

"Cape Town? Where the fuck is that?"

::His hand, which is bleeding a little less now, is drawn in toward his chest, his shirt wrapped around it. He walks over to a few men standing around.::

"Where am I?"

"Back home. I thought you were going hunting. Didn't you catch anything?"

(Hunting?)

"Umm... No."

::His hand sends another shot of pain through his body.::

"Do you know where I can get some help for this?"

::He shows him his bloody stump.::

::The man glances at it.::

"Tiger finally got you, huh?"

::He thumbs at the hut behind him.::

"If you want I'll stitch you up, but you'd probably do a better job yourself."

"You're kidding, right?"

::He takes the man's look as a no.::

"Of course you're not."

::He enters the hut and walks toward the table in the middle. He opens up a box on the table, which is filled with rusty pins and needles, and a few things of thread.::

(I've got to be fucking dreaming.)

::He threads the needle, then sets it down on the table. He takes off his rather bloody shirt and rips off a piece of it, putting it in his mouth, before sitting down on the floor. He begins to sew up his fucking hand, and after a few minutes, his hand is bleeding a considerably amount less, and he has a rather rough stitch job. He lets out a huge sigh and puts his shirt back on, before stepping out of the hut again. He looks around the small settlement, then his eyes fall on a rather peculiar looking shop. Candles surround the doorway, and he walks over to it, going in.::

"Hello?"

"What're you going into my damn hut for?"

::Ryo looks at the man.::

(This is so fucked up.)

"Where am I? And what year?"

::The man, who is one of the guys Ryo already spoke to - outside the home he just rudely barged into - gives him a stare then turns to his friends.::

"Maybe we should get him some blood. Sounds like he's delirious."

"Just tell me what the fucking year is!"

::He's been kidnapped, finger napped, and dropped out of a portal. Wouldn't you be testy?.::

"1684... end of."

::They all stare at him, unsettled.::

::His eyes unfocus for a second as he zones out.::

(1684... The other me must have been my past self or something... These people must think I'm him. I need to find a witch or something... I wonder what country I'm in.)

::He snaps back.::

"That's what I thought. Sorry, I'm just a little on edge."

::He smiles at the men.::

"I think I need to lie down."

(Do I even have a place here?)

"I'll help you back to your place."

::One of the men breaks off to lead Ryo home.::

"He's gonna get bitten to hell."

::Aidan arrives and stays cautious, there are people here and he can see a few guns. He walks slowly into the settlement.::

"Can somebody help me?"

::Luke orbs in discretion behind some... thing.::

::The men turn and stare at Aidan.::

"Who the heck are you?"

(He's not one of us... but he has to be.)

::While Aidan tries to explain his way out of this, he starts sensing for Ryo.::

(Please work..)

"A friend of Ryo's, he's in trouble, is he here...?"

::Luke finds Ryo and slowly comes out of hiding to allow Aidan to see him. He gestures to the young man to approach him.::

"I think my friend brings news of Ryo. Excuse me..."

::He walks over to Luke.::

"Yes?"

"Have to take him for a minute; General's order."

::Luke drags Aidan away and when he feels that they are far enough so that the gun-wielding men can't see them, he orbs them both to the jungle.::
