The portal from present day San Fran to here is currently open.

::Julie exits the portal and draws her sword, immediately aware to her surroundings. She knows what birds fly in the sky, what insects crawl in the ground, and she knows where her two targets are. The warrior breaks into a run, locating the barn.::

::Julie goes back through to the 4th d with Ands and Shaz.::

::The portal closes behind Andrea who finds herself on a grassy hill. The stream is closeby.::

::A mangy wolf which shouldn't even be here pads out of the woods and approaches Andrea, its snout wrinkled as a loud growl comes from its throat.::

::Hearing the growl, Andrea turns and starts backing away.::

"Oh... balls."

::The wolf's growl turns into a snarl and then a roar as it barrels towards her, fangs bared.::

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

::Andrea TKs the wolf away and turns and bombs it the hell out of there to the stream.::

::Sharon steps out of the portal and looks around.::

(How am I supposed to find her?)

::Piper lands after Sharon, on the ground.::

"God dammit."

::She picks herself up and dusts off.::

"Bad idea to jump headfirst into those."

"How do we find Andrea?"

::Sharon walks around Piper, trying to see into the distance.::

"A spell?"

::She holds her hand out and attempts to phase it. When it works, she shows Piper.::

::Piper looks relieved.::

"Thank god."

::She looks at the woods behind them, then ahead. Spotting the convent, sees what else she can see, then nods.::

"I can try a scrying. Look; there's a river over there. I can probably work with the water to get a direction."

"Water?"

::Sharon frowns.::

"How?"

"Magic. Come on!"

::Piper and Shazza head to the stream.::

::Piper shows up with Andrea, Sharon and Past Chloe and turns to face everyone.::

"Right, uh..."

::Her eyes fall on Chloe.::

"Andrea, you know you can't..."

::Chloe looks past them all at the portal.::

"What is that?"

::She's afraid.::

::Looks at Andrea.::

::So does Chloe. She then puts her fingers on the witch's arm, just lightly. Just for the comfort of contact.::

::Piper notices how close they seem to be and that's without even doing anything. She starts to wonder.::

::Andrea straightens and looks regretful. Then she attempts to convince them that Chloe should come back with them.::

"See... the thing is... Chloe's um, the same thing is going to happen to her as... as..."

::Piper looks really uncomfortable and looks to Sharon. Yes Sharon, this is a job for you.::

"Andrea... we have to send our past selves back too. We can't change the past. It all has to happen."

::Sharon avoids looking at Chloe and ignores the fact that even if there is a way to get their past lives back here without The Source stopping them, she probably won't be able to face it. At least with Past Andrea, anyway.::

"What? No way. You're kidding, right?"

::Andrea ducks away from Chloe and pulls Piper and Sharon into a... power triangle...

... okay, just a small circle they can talk in, and whispers urgently.::

"Don't you think it's possible these people were brought into our lives because they need our help?"

"Listen... Andrea... I know this... this isn't easy, but the past is the past. If you start messing with it, you change the future. I mean, being here right this second is dangerous enough. It's the whole butterfly effect, you know? Doing something different now could affect the future more than you could imagine. We can't change the past."

::Andrea opens her mouth, then abruptly closes it.::

"Can you give us a minute?"

"Sharon?"

"Yes, of course."

::Sharon eyes Andrea reluctantly, but steps away a bit so that she can talk privately. She wants to keep an eye on her sister though.::

::Andrea looks really uncomfortable.::

"Can I... meet you through there?"

"Oh."

::Sharon looks really worried.::

"I suppose so. But stand right next to the portal in case you need to... jump through..."

"I will."

::Sharon looks at Piper. It's a bit of a wrench, but after a brief smile in Andrea's direction she goes through to the fourth dimension with the Charmed One.::

(Suckers.)

"Right. Come on, Chlo. Let's go!"

"Go?"

::Chloe looks nervously at the portal.::

"Go where?"

"Yeah!"

::Andrea stops suddenly.::

"Okay... listen. Let me tell you the truth. I'm from the future."

(... why'd it come out in bold?)

"... what I meant to say was... I'm from the future."

(What the hell!?)

"... what?"

::Chloe looks confused for a moment until she suddenly giggles in realisation.::

"You're making a joke, sis... Andrea."

"Listen. This is too much to explain here and now. If you don't come with me, something awful is going to happen. I'm a woman of God, remember? So you should. Look."

::She sticks her hand through the portal.::

"I'm not hurt. It's safe. Please come."

"But... what is it? Where do you want me to come?"

::The questions don't hide the look on Chloe's face which make it clear she's quite happy to go with Andrea. Especially away from here.::

(... omg I did not just think that.)

::What Andrea thought I'll leave to your imagination. Be creative. She grabs Chloe's hand and yanks her through the portal into D4.::

::Aaaand Andrea's back with Past Chloe in tow. She sniffs and can't look at the girl anymore.::

"Where's your favourite place, Chlo?"

"I- I don't know."

::She looks shyly at Andrea.::

"The wood."

(Because we kissed there.)
