The portal from present day San Fran to here is currently open.

::Paz exits the portal and breaks into a run to Samantha's house.::

::Paz and Justin approach the portal.::

::Justin starts trying to back off now.::

"What the fuck is that?"

"The future, loverboy."

::Paz shoves Justin into the portal and jumps through behind him. They both return to the fourth dimension.::

::Andrea steps through with Sharon and hugs herself.::

"It's bloody freezing! And why's it so dark!?"

::It's night time???????????????????????::

"It's Wales."

::Sharon looks around, spotting the castle in the distance.::

"Well that's posh. Want to start over there?"

::Andrea looks huffy.::

"Want to start back home in the sun."

::Sharon smiles fondly at her sister and takes her hand, walking with her towards the castle.::

"It does remind me of Dundalk, though."

::Andrea and Sharon arrive. Andrea stares morosely at the portal, not sure of what she wants to do. She worries that Paz really is here and that when she steps through this portal, her chance of rescuing him will be lost.::

::Sharon nudges her sister's shoulder gently with her own.::

"If he's not here, we can always come back and get him. I'm sure Ozy will check which Paz it is before they... you know."

"Spose... come on, then. I'm dying to make sure Julie and Azura are okay."

::Andrea holds Sharon as they go into the fourth dimension.::

::Justin and Paz walk through. Justin stretches and breathes in the fresh, cool night air as he finds himself home and smiles at Paz.::

"This is your past."

::He waves a hand at the town of Caerphilly they stand on the outskirts of.::

"...Yeah."

::Paz says simply, looking out over the dark scenery.::

::Justin bites his lip for a moment, feeling awkward. He doesn't want to do this.::

"It's probably right to not venture far. If Ozymandias sees us, he might not realise you're not the demon."

"Is he a whitelighter?"

::Paz asks, if only to distract himself from what's come.::

"Yes. He is... was... an enemy of Paz."

::Justin swallows tightly and looks away.::

(I bet it's the same one...)

"Justin... I."

::As if struggling to speak, Paz draws in a shaky breath.::

"I'm really sorry."

::Justin frowns, not understanding.::

"For what?"

"That I... That I wasn't better."

::He feels responsible for his past self's actions, and for that fact that Justin had to kill the man he loved. He's also apologising as if he could to his Justin. After a moment of silence Paz looks up at Justin with tears forming in his eyes.::

"I don't want you to go."

::Justin also looks really upset. There's a horrible thick feeling in his throat, chest, stomach; like he's being smothered by his own emotions. He clenches his jaw and tries to keep his voice steady.::

"I don't want to... lose you."

::Closing his eyes, he wipes the tears that slip down his cheeks.::

"You were... are... the only one I have ever loved."

::Paz finds this really painful to hear and finds himself looking away as a sob heaves in his chest. He too is now crying.::

"I don't want to say goodbye again."

::Justin also looks down and then takes Paz's hands.::

"I'm sorry that I came too early and you came too late."

::He gives Paz a bittersweet smile.::

"No..."

::Paz is now crying freely, his chest heaving with the effort of it all. He shakes his head side-to-side.::

"Don't go."

::Seeing the pain Paz is in causes Justin to break down too. He tries to hide it by pulling the witch into a tight embrace, but his shaking body betrays him as he sobs quietly onto Paz's shoulder.::

(It's not fair. It's not.)

::Paz finds his hands grasping at the back of Justin's top, pulling at the fabric as he cries, his actions mirroring Justin's nearly. The guilt he felt around Justin concerned with his feeling of betrayal toward Aidan seems to fade away, him being so consumed with sadness at this time.::

(He went once, he shouldn't have to again.)

"...Please."

"You have no idea how much I want to say yes, Paz. I can't tell if I should do what's right when what I want to do is so much stronger."

"What's not right is that you have to go!"

::He cries out with the torment of it all.::

"It's not fair. It's just not."

::Swallowing, Paz lets out a shaky breath.::

"No. It's not."

::Justin sniffs and pulls out of the hug, then kisses Paz for the last time.::

::And somehow Paz knows this, and when the kiss is done with he finds it hard not to break. He chokes back tears with little success as he looks into Justin's eyes. He shakes his head lightly, his bleary eyes shining with tears.::

"You're not evil. You are so good."

::Justin looks down for a moment and then up again, back into Paz's eyes with a smile.::

"It means a lot to hear you say that."

::He nods, tears still making their way down his cheeks.::

::Justin sighs and ignores that the post said it was their last kiss. He kisses Paz again, this time goodbye.::

::And as their lips seperate Paz is beside himself. He sniffles and shakes a little, taking a step backward to stop himself from trying something in a last ditch effort to have his way. It really is so hard to do the right thing.::

"I love you."

::He manages to whisper, almost simply mouthing it.::

"I love you."

::Justin pauses, then takes off his jacket and gives it to Paz.::

::Paz takes the jacket, not sure of why he has it, but instead of putting it on, he holds it close to his chest, his hands holding it tightly. Struggling, he speaks.::

"Go... Be good."

::Justin nods.::

"I will."

::He takes a few steps away but wants to see Paz go. Closure purposes.::

::Paz swallows and takes one last look at Justin. He starts at his feet and absorbs the image into his mind, stoping when he reaches his face. With a teary smile, he takes a few steps backward and takes a deep breath in. He turns on the spot so he is facing away from Justin and after a moment...::

"Goodbye, Justin."

::...Steps into the portal to the fouth dimension.::

::Justin watches, unmoving.::

::The portal closes and disappears.::
