The portal from present day San Fran to here is currently open.

::Stupid Sera falls out the portal and it closes. It's next to Sera's demon shack.::

::Stupid Sera lands hard on her stomach and rolls over, coughing. Soon, she gets up and stares at everything, panic etched on her saggy face. Turning to the well-hidden home beside her, the slut eyes it for a bit before heading over to a crude-looking, dirty window. She peers inside.::

(There's someone in there... don't think they're conscious, though...)

::Getting a very bad feeling about this, Sera roams around to the front of the house/chamber and tentatively opens the heavy door, stepping inside.::

::Paige steps through the portal and has a good look around.::

(Wow. Countryside. This really is the past.)

::She looks at the building beside her. How convenient. She goes check Sera's chamber out.::

::Paige orbs in with Sera and looks at her.::

"S... era, isn't it?"

::Sera nods tiredly, Paige's face swimming slightly in her vision.::

"Thank fuck you're here."

"So I shouldn't really have to ask you what year you're from, right? What the hell was going on back there?"

::Sera closes her eyes, then opens them, trying to fight the lightheadedness. She stares at Paige.::

"They were trying to kill me, obviously. My past life was, is, a demon... there was a girl, in the house... I think she was, uh, Moony's past life. Looked exactly like her, but mortal and younger. Also, she wasn't wearing cheap leather. I think my past life might have, erm, tortured her."

(So fucked up.)

::The brunette frowns deeply.::

::Paige blinks, silenced for a moment.::

"... wow. Moony?"

"Yeah, I know. Crazy, isn't it?"

::Sera murmurs, more to herself than Paige. She looks around blearily and sees that the portal's open again.::

"They were throwing table legs at me. Table. Legs. Honestly, man."

::So, she's kind of out of it...::

(...)

"You know what? Standing here: bad idea. Let's go. Come on."

::Paige takes a gentle but firm hold of Sera's arm and they return through the portal to the fourth dimension.::

::Past Sera is unceremoniously thrown out of the portal and onto the hard ground. The portal closes behind her.::

::Sera rolls over and over before coming to a rest flat on her face. She springs to her feet and runs to where the portal was, but it's gone now. The demon yells at the top of her voice.::

"Come back! What about the deal?"

::She spits dust at the ground and coughs.::

"There she is!"

::Many people descend on Sera and pretty much try to kill her on the spot.::

::Sera just manages to dart out of the way and runs into her place.::

::The villagers all follow.::
