The portal from present day San Fran to here is currently open.

::Ryo flies out from his portal, rolling to a stop a few meters away. He grabs his hand, which has a dull pain shooting through it. He watches as the portal closes behind him.::

(Fuck. Fuck fuck fuck.)

::He pulls himself into a standing position slowly, leaning on a tree for support. He sees smoke nearby, and drags himself to the Settlement.::

[The portal closes.]

::Aidan arrives and brushes himself down. He can't really stand most of those people. He looks around the jungle carefully and methodically.::

"Ryo? Oh Ryo?"

::He continues onto the settlement.::

::Luke exits the portal and uses his whitelighter abilities to sense Aidan's location. He orbs to the settlement.::

::Luke, Ryo and Aidan return to the fourth dimension.::

::Past Ryo is thrown out into the ground in the middle of the jungle and the portal closes and disappears.::

::Ryo rolls and jumps to his feet, scrambling back to where the portal was.::

"Fuck!"

::He's not in a part of the jungle he recognises.::
