It's a vortex of air. It's in a long room, a corridor, with a platform at each end. On one platform, there is a door. The air is constantly pushing from the door to the platform with nothing on it. The platforms are about two foot off the ground, but the strong winds fill the room.

::Aidan appears on the platform without the door.::

::Aidan begins to slide backwards, just a little as he is caught unaware. He quickly adapts, still a little unaware, working on instinct. His shoes grip the floor tightly, good job they have strong grips. He shields his face and looks around. He can see the platform with the door, but there's no way, even if he had his power that he'd be able to get there. No way. Is there? He's not strong enough to fight winds that strong. Is he? He doesn't want to be blown away. He takes a couple of steps forwards, fighting the wind. It's strong.::

(Shit shit shit Paz Paz Paz. Shit shit shit. No no, I'm not ready... I'm not strong enough.)

::His arms fade away as they turn to air, his shoulders pulled painfully backwards against the wind as his arms have no choice but to re-appear. He continues to try and fight the wind physically.::

::And it's surprisingly easy. Too easy.::

"Not going to use your powers, kid?"

::A voice whispers from the walls. What does it really mean? Majora could be implying anything.::

"Yeah..."

(That's exactly what it wants me to do. It's probably tricking me.)

::Never the less, he attempts a spell to stop the wind.::

"Power within me, power of air,
Stop the wind that's swirling here,
Calm the element, calm the breeze,
So I can get across with ease..."

::The wind will let up enough for Aidan to move forwards to about halfway up the passage, but then start again harder than ever.::

"Good."

::Aidan slowly turns his form into air. Once in that state, he pushes against the wind, hoping to get across to the other side. Whether or not it will work or not is another story.::

::Now Aidan's boyfriend is stood at the other side of the tunnel, leaning against the door with his arms folded.::

"You can do it, Aide."

::Too focussed on the task to recognise that his boyfriend is unusually calm seeming, he completely believes it is him as he tries and tries to push through the air, now more intent on his task as he can hear Paz's voice and see him in the distance. He has to make it now. He has to.::

::Aidan seems to be making absolutely no progress.::

"Come on, Aide. You can do it."

(Can he?)

::Paz starts to look a little doubtful.::

::Aidan keeps pushing, harder and harder and harder. He has to do this. He has to reach that door so he can leave.::

::Not happening.::

"... wow. That's bad..."

::Paz is slowly shaking his head.::

(He is seriously weak.)

"Some witch, hm?"

"You're telling me. He can't do it."

::Paz moves closer to the door.::

"If you can't rely on your power, what can you rely on?"

::Aidan is thrown out of the air and into physical form, sliding across the island without the door on. He's thrown because of what Paz and the mask said, shocked. Before he lets it get too far he reminds himself that this is his test and that that can't be Paz. Paz would never, ever treat him like that.::

"... I know this is a test. You're not Paz."

::Paz rolls his eyes.::

"Not just an ugly face."

"Shut up. Is my test going to be me crumbling because I can't handle insults from someone who chose to look like Paz? Because I'm sorry babe, that's not going to happen."

::He folds his arms.::

"Congratulations. You threw a strop."

::Paz laughs lightly to himself and leaves through the door. Nice one!::

"Good, fuck off then."

::He has no idea why he's being so utterly offensive, no idea what so ever. But wait... maybe he was venting some steam about the Justin stuff he thought he was over. He is over it. He is. Shut up brain.::

"So how do I get across without my powers?"

::A high, wheedling voice fills the chamber.::

"You can't!"

"Well, there must be some way across."

"What if there isn't?"

::The voice rises in a giggle, and the wind bursts towards Aidan harder for a moment.::

"Poor Aidan. Weak as he ever was. Can't do anything with those powers of his."

"I'm not weak, you're just all powerful. But like. I'm good, so in me is some way of overcoming you."

"You can't even speak and make sense. And you think I should fear you?"

"Because I'm good."

"Good at your power, you ain't."

"Powers don't even matter."

"Don't make me laugh, boy!"

"Why not? Humour is good for the soul."

"Weaklinnnngggg."

"Oh my God. You have totally broken my spirit. I am defeated. Woe is me."

::Deadpan.::

::Aidan suddenly gets the feeling that he is going to be utterly alone for all time if he does not get through that door.::

(Oh...)

::Aidan suddenly turns into air and bullets for the door, pushing with all of his might. He doesn't want to be alone, he needs to get back.::

::The wind is too strong for his airiness.::

::He's thrown back onto the island without the door and turns back into his physical self, thrown rather violently. Ouch. He eventually stands, looking annoyed.::

"Well, if you keep making it so difficult..."

(Never going to see Paz again.)

::No response. Even the mask has left Aidan alllll alone.::

"Oh-fucking-great."

::Aidan decides that perhaps he should take a leap of faith. He might as well. He can always save himself, hopefully. But... he realises he needs to let everything go. He attempts to shed his emotional attatchments, so as to make it easier. He approaches the edge of his island, looking to the gap between the two.::

"Let it all go."

::He closes his eyes and... steps forwards.::

::Aidan falls facefirst off the platform, which kinda sucks... but on the ground down there, the wind might just be weak enough for him to force his way through.::
