A clean, nice-smelling elevator. Tinkly music plays when journeying up and down, up and down, up and down.

::Meredith presses the button and the doors open immediately. She gets inside with Paz, Andrea, Julie and Sera.::

"Come on, we're all friends here."

::She chuckles, but the truth is there's plenty of room in the elevator.::

"So in your old place you all lived on the same floor too? Is that how you became friends?"

::She frowns thoughtfully.::

"I think it's so weird that everybody in that building had magic powers..."

::Meredith has none herself, but she is more than cool with the whole thing.::

"Pretty much, yeah."

::Paz smiles as they move upwards in the elevator.::

"It's just kind of the way it went. It was meant to be!"

::He gestures grandly, taking the piss slightly. But yeah, now that he thinks about, it seems like it was just meant to be.::

"Hey, Mer, do you know why the place is called Black Point? I can't decide if it's classy or dark sounding..."

::Andrea grins.::

"Maybe it's an evil demon nest of demons and evilness and nesting."

::She pauses, realising Meredith's standing right there.::

"Or, you know, not."

::Meredith chuckles as the doors open.::

"Yeah... I see what you mean. Let's go with the happy medium-"

::She leads them all to the hallway.::

::Meredith hits the button and waits anxiously.::

"Come on come on come on!"

::When the doors open, she, Paz and Sera jump in. She presses the ground floor button. The doors close. The elevator starts to move.

It's the longest elevator ride of all time.

The tinkling piano bar music grates on all. Meredith bounces on the balls of her feet, standing awkwardly. There's nothing more bizarre and annoying than having to stand still when you're in a rush.::

"I hope everyone's okay..."

::He sounds concerned, but as he thinks things over he begins to smile. The elevator pings as the doors open.::

"Come on, then!"

::Off they go to the front entrance.::

::Meredith and Sera get into the elevator. After a second, Dith recognises the music and dances along.::

"Ba ba bwarap... ba ba bwarap bwarap bwap."

::Sera narrows her eyes. Sure, Meredith's being cute as hell, but the brunette's in a very specific mood. Biting her lip, she advances on the dancing blond.::

"You've been keeping me at bay all day, Mer. Not fun."

::Meredith turns around, still dancing to the music. They have a long way up.::

"Are you out there, can you hear this?
Jimmy Olsen, Jonny Memphis-
I was out here listening all the tiiiiiiiime-"

::She grins, then fakes a bite at Sera's nose.::

"Lotsa fun."

"Oh yeah. Just, terrible fun."

::Sera's eyes narrow further; she steps ever closer to Meredith, entranced by the smell of the blond. Groaning inwardly, the brunette risks it and moves to softly press her lips against the Aussie's.::

::Meredith kisses Sera back, walking forwards so the other girl is pushed onto the far wall. She kisses her hard, shoving into her.::

(God. Finally.)

::Sera ferociously returns Meredith's affections, her stomach flipping all around and filled with tingles. She whimpers into the kiss, placing her hands on the other girl's hips and roughly pulling her ever closer.::

"Oh wait-"

::Meredith pulls away suddenly.::

"I love this bit!"

::She joins in with an air guitar solo.::

::Sera actually growls at this development and reaches out, yanking Meredith out of her guitar solo and back into her. She suddenly bites the blond's neck, then starts to suck on her pulse point, holding her there.::

(I swear, if you do that one more time...)

"Ahaha-"

::Meredith allows herself to be held in place, then uses her thigh just slightly to- oh, did the door open? May as well go into the penthouse then.::

::Portia steps into the elevator a little cautious, always having a slight fear of getting stuck inside one. As the door close, she presses the button to get to the bottom floor. The tinkly music begins to play, causing Portia to hum along with it.::

(Hmm, hmm hmm, hmm hmm hmm hmm...They should get a new song...Hmm hmm...)

::She reaches in her pocket, and pulls out a stick of gum right as there is a slight ding, telling her that she is at the bottom floor. Portia sticks the gum in her mouth and begins to chew while the doors open slowly. Stepping out of the elevator, she walks towards the front entrance.::

::Since the doors were open, Abby had happily hopped into the elevator. She stands there dumbly and wonders what's going to happen. The tinkly music is pleasurable to her, however, so she smiles and bops her head and shoulders a bit.::

"Hmm."

::After a while, she tires of this and her eyes fall on the buttons. She grins and then presses every single one. The doors close. The nymph then visits every floor in the building before getting out in the best hallway.::

::Jasmine enters the elevator, picking up on the essences of the people that have been here recently. Several familiar scents. Cute. She listens to the music as she goes up to the correct floor, psychically selected, and thinks about the time at the North Pole or wherever when In the Hall of the Mountain King was the selected tune for their descent into Santa's Grotto.::

(Well, he certainly achieved the effect he wanted with that little trick.)

::When the doors open, she paces to the hallway.::

::Nico enters the elevator and peruses the buttons for a moment before selecting one that is purposefully further apart from the others. It's at the very bottom, a telling gap between it and the one above, which reads G. The one Nico is pressing says B. She waits. When the doors open, she enters the basement.::

::Colin enters the elevator with Paul, Linda and Kirsten. He presses the correct button and they stand in silence as the lift lurches into action. After a while, he smirks.::

"We're so cool."

::When the doors open, they all walk out to the hallway.::

::Julie enters and presses her floor. She waits patiently and gets out into the hallway.::

::Paige and Melinda enter the lift. The redhead presses the appropriate floor and then crouches down in front of Melinda to straighten out her hair.::

::The witch winces a bit, turning her head away, then smiles at her mother.::

"You're wet."

::Paige's own hair is already hanging in rat's tails. She smiles.::

"I know. So're you."

"Not as wet as you."

"That's right. You know why? Because Mommy loves you, that's why."

::Paige kisses Melinda's forehead and straightens up for the doors opening. They walk out to the hallway.::

::Paz drags his package (heh) into the elevator and presses the button for his floor.::

(Is it a painting? Why would someone send me a painting. Maybe I can get Jas to look at it if it's antiquey... She'll know stuff.)

::The lift doors ping open and he drags the painting out to the hallway.::

::Quinn enters the elevator. But instead of pushing the button for his floor, he presses on for the floor above it. Carrie's place. The android knows that his counterpart's residence has all the technology he needs to initiate contact with home base.

The elevator dings after a few moments, the doors opening to allow Quinn access to the hallway.::

(ZOMG ZOMBIES!)

::Quinn has a freak out, looking left and right and left and up, but now down, even as the elevator door closes on his with a pleasant beep.::

(Huh? What? Where am I? Oh, home, phew. That zombie event was some nightmare!)

::The photographer laughs to himself, blaming his overactive imagination for freaking out over his lost camera. Suddenly, he gets the idea that some shopping might prove therapeutic... and thus hits the button for the ground floor, so he can travel to the front entrance.::

::Quinn and his shopping bags climb into the elevator. The andorid bends his arm and uses the elbow to precisely press the button for his floor. The door closes with a soft swish, re-opening seconds later into the hallway.::

::Weird, when Quinn presses the button for the ground floor, he feels a jolt of... something. Almost as if the elevator is talking to him. But he knows that is crazy talk and he is imagining it. So the photographer (still minus his camera, sob) simply waits for the doors to open so he can step out to the front entrance.::

::Let's just say that the elevator got stuck, but Kendra is out of it now, shall we? Off to the front entrance.::
