An alley that runs between this building and the next. It contains all of our large dumpsters of rubbish to be picked up by the ever-present binmen. Oh, you could tell I was being sarcastic?

There is a fire escape on this side of the building, too.

::Chloe lands in the back alley, transforming in midair into her human self. She makes for the Front Entrance.::

::Abby plops down from the fire escape and the vine limbs shrink back into her body. She gives a shudder at the cold and wraps her arms around herself, having forgotten about the masses of snow.::

"There ought to be somewhere I can buy warm clothing."

::She runs to the streets and, through asking random strangers, finds the mall.::

::Veronica walks into the alley and projects a spiffy little moped before her, complete with helmet and all. Her face twitches lightly as she solidifies it. A minute later, the engine roars and the girl speeds out of the alley and to the magic school.::

::Chloe appears and looks around before birdifying and flying off to the magic school.::

::Julie blinks in. She looks around then walks to the front entrance.::

::Josie smokes with Abby to the top of lighthouse.::

::Trying to catch her breath, Andrea rushes around the building and looks up. Yey, the entertainment system of Sera's, crushed to perfection, is still there. She lets it lower to the ground quickly, avoiding windows so nobody will see it. She opens a dumpster to receive it and, ta da, all cleaned up. And then she goes to the magic shop.::

::Wynter and Sia appear in a slight mess of flames. As they disappear, Wynter sighs and crosses her arms.::

"And now we wait."

::Sia leaps into the air and shapeshifts into a sparrow. She flutters upwards rapidly, shooting past windows and glancing inside.::

::Kaid blinks in with an athame and a vial of potion.::

"Where's Sia?"

"Right here."

::Sia shapeshifts back into her normal form, landing on the ground in front of them. She takes the potion first, uncorking it. Then she hands it back to Kaid and takes the athame. She sniffs in a wince as she cuts her own palm, then lets blood drip into the potion.::

"Lead us to Jasmine's parents."

[The potion swirls, then the vial shatters in Kaid's hand. The potion splatters onto the ground, but begins to move. The puddle of red liquid shimmers with unnatural light as it creeps up the wall, higher and higher, to a certain window above that leads into Sera's apartment. It then evaporates.]

"I'll see what I can see."

::Sia shapeshifts back into the bird and flutters upwards to Sera's.::

::Kaid watches the window, unable to see the sparrow any more because of the light.::

::Sia returns, transforming back to human form when she lands.::

"The psychics are there. I've seen Jasmine, you can't mistake her. She looks just like Azura."

::She glamours into Jasmine.::

"Do you ever smile?"

"Only when I'm killing stupid people."

::Sia turns to Kaid and gives him a sardonic smile with Jasmine's face.::

"Is it clear for me to flame you in there? We can pull the whole bathroom trick once more."

"The psychics left the room, but they could return any time. If you want to do this, it's possible that it could get very dangerous very quickly."

::Sia pauses.::

"Alternatively, we could just grab them and run. Her parents-"

::She's assuming that's who the older couple were.::

"-appear to be sleeping."

"You know what? That sounds much easier."

"Very well. I'll return to the window. I'll throw something down as my signal. Come up, let me inside while one of you grabs them, and get us all out of here."

::Sia leaps into the air yet again, as a brightly-coloured parrot this time, and flies up to Sera's.::

::Sia returns moments later, changing back into Jasmine.::

"Okay, the girl from the airport is there, now. The psychics are still not in sight, and I'm now sure the parents are asleep... but the girl is watching over them."

"Then we'll kill them all."

"Someone's changed his tune."

::Sia looks at Kaid, bemused.::

::Knowing she's referring to his initial reluctance to take part in this project, Kaid shrugs.::

"Once I get involved in something, I'm there."

::He looks up towards the windows.::

"I say if we want to do this, we do it completely. Kill them all. Take no prisoners... until the psychics are dead."

"How romantic."

::Sia eyes him for a moment, then watches Wynter's face to see how the insane demon is reacting to this.::

"The problem being that we are on very dangerous ground now. The discovery that the witches may have branched out of the school, however, may be worth rather a lot..."

::She smiles slightly.::

"But that doesn't mean it's safe to just attack without regard to what we might find ourselves up against."

"Sia, if their beloved whitelighter has just died..."

"I know. And I believe she has; I think they have her and they look stricken. But we don't know if they're expecting another attack, and we definitely don't know if grief makes them worse."

::Sia drops the glamour.::

"It's still the best time. Right now. Strike while the iron is hot."

::He looks up to the window.::

::Sufjen shimmers in, straightening out his suit.::

"Did I miss anything?"

(Looks like a no.)

::He blanches slightly when he sees Sia, glamoured as a blonde.::

"... Sia?"

"Yes. This is what the younger psychic looks like. We've run into a slight problem. We've located her parents, but she and her sister are both in the apartment with them. Some of us-"

::Kaid.::

"-still think we should attack, but I think it'd be foolish. You know as well as I what power they possess."

::At the end of the alley, the demon Majora stands behind the corner before moving around it. He stays close to the wall, his back and arms pressed against it, head back and turned to The Four with a grim look on his face. His eyes are angry, but he just remains hidden in the shadows. News travels fast in the right circles, even those of the exiled. He knows what they've done. He knows where they're going. But what does he want out of it?::

"That is a problem."

::Sufjen nods.::

"However, in better news, the place I've secured for us is protected from all magical entry bar us. Outsiders also can't sense anybody that's inside at the time, nor can they scry for them. It might prevent further incidents like what happened earlier."

::The information passed on, Sufjen looks up at the window his cohorts are glancing at.::

"Perhaps it would be wise to defer to a later time. Wynter?"

::His dark eyes move to gaze into hers.::

"We leave."

::She turns her attention to Kaid.::

"While I do agree we should act soon, we don't want to run in there and get ourselves vanquished. We'll wait for the opportune moment."

"Going so soon?"

::Majora makes himself known by pushing away from the wall and stepping out into the glow cast by a street lamp from the main road. He's still wearing Leo's clothes, but they fit him okay. He forces himself to walk without any hint of the injury he's sustaining in his abdomen from the battle with bounty hunters in the Halliwell attic.::

::Sufjen turns quickly, panicked that they'd been followed. Surprise registers briefly on his face when he sees who it is.::

"Look who crawled out of the sewer."

::Kaid reaches behind Sia and grabs the athame that he had bought and she had holstered in her trousers.::

"There's a price on his head, isn't there?"

::Majora eyes the men only for a second, then Wynter, who he doesn't recognise, before his gaze lands slowly on Sia and remains.::

"Majora."
