The girls' dorm is a long room with bunk beds going up the two longer walls. On the far side, there is a big mirror with a few sinks.

"Here we are. Standard dorm. Complete with huge mirror for those essential...girly things."

::Petunius smiles at Hayley.::

"If you need anything, someone should be around the mansion. There always is. I'll see ya in a while, Hayley."

::And with a nod, he makes his way downstairs to the kitchen.::

"Oh yeah, this is the ritz."

::Hayley sighs and instead of hanging around this dump, goes downstairs in hunt of the kitchen. She wants a snack.::

::Here comes Hayley! She bursts through the door and throws her bags down on the nearest bed. It's not the one she's chosen to be her, but the place shows no sign of many other people actually staying there. Infact, there's one bed with signs of life around it. Pictures of a girl and her mother smiling, and other bits and bobs.::

"This place so sucks for students."

::She takes a seat on another vacant bed and eyes the door, waiting for Portia.::

::Portia enters the room slowly, trying to balance all the bags. Fortunately for her, she makes it into the room with enough time to toss them all carelessly on one of the empty beds. Letting out a sigh, she looks around the room in front of her.::

"Pretty desolate, huh? Maybe I should move in here."

::With a shrug, she plops down on a bed somewhat near Hayley.::

"Sorry about earlier in the kitchen."

"Eh, I'm over it."

::Hayley shrugs.::

"Maybe you should move in here. I think there's only one other girl in the whole freakin' place!"

"Really? You're the only other student, besides Vanyel and Aidan, that I've met. And hey, Aidan looks enough like a girl, so I guess he could count."

::With a shrug of her shoulders, she leans back on the bed and looks up at the ceiling for a couple of seconds. She then slowly turns her head to look at Hayley, giving her a small smile.::

"What can you do? I mean, I've shown you mine, you could at least show me yours."

"It's a pretty cool trick."

::Hayley smiles at Portia, giving her the eyes sideways. She likes to keep hold of the mystery though.::

::Portia lets out a small laugh, wondering if Hayley will ever show what her power is.::

"I'm sure it's better than being a stupid ol' human."

::She says, obvious distaste in her voice.::

"Yup!"

::Hayley laughs at the fact, but not in a mocking way. Her laugh carries through the empty space, and she smiles warmly at Portia.::

"Okay."

::She hops off the bed and sits cross legged in the midle of the floor. For a moment, she focusses herself. It's actually an odd sight, as the girl is usually so hyperactive and brash. Hayley opens her eyes and they have a milky hue spread across them. Her hand trails along the carpet to the side of her, forming a semi-circle to the side of her. Her lips move in a chant, but it's so quiet that you can barely pick it up, even in the stillness of the room.::

"Sylvestris ego voco vos. Ego dico vos hic adveho in res aer."

::A huge gust of wind blows up in the room, buffering the girls before it settles down slighltly. The barely visible form of the sylph forms infront of Hayley, and turns to look down at ther sitting form.::

::Hayley's eyes return to normal when the sylph appears, and girl smiles, standing.::

"Hey!"

::She smiles at the creature.::

"I'm sorry for calling you when I have no need for you."

::She gives a small respectful bow, showing her gratitude to the sylph for her presence.::

"If you could make some non-harmful display of your power, then I will allow you to leave."

::The sylph gracefully turns, her form made of the wind itself. She shimmers in the light, her form constantly shifting and moving, blown by a wind that isn't present. It raises her hands to Hayley and a wind blows out toward her, wrapping the girl up. It doesn't take long for her to become invisible.::

"See! It's so cool!"

::Hayley's invisible form calls out to Portia, and she moves around the room stealthily innorder to poke the girl in the stomach.::

"So cool!"

::She laughs, before turning back to the sylph.::

"Thank you for your assistance. Ego solvo vos."

::In a gust, the sylph vanishes, as does Hayley's invisibility.::

::The now unveiled Hayley spreads her hands out, being the showman that she is.::

"Tah-dah!"

::The door slams open as Dani runs in. She stops short on seeing the two other girls, having not expected to see anybody else. There never is anybody else. She frowns.::

"Who're you guys?"

::Hayley's head turns to see Danielle when the door slams.::

"We're students here. I'm Hayley, this is Portia. I'm gonna live here with you."

::She gestures at what she will make her bed, what with her luggage around it.::

"Cool! I'm Danielle."

::Danielle grins.::

"You'll never guess what. Ms Shamshay - she's the school's librarian, and like... Ms Matthews' wife, but I dunno if I'm supposed to like, tell you that. Whatever. Anyway - she's like, wasted."

::She's pulling a camera from her bag.::

"If you knew her in real life, this'd probably be a hell of a lot more exciting than it sounds."

"THAT WAS SO COOL!"

::Yes, Portia is all but ignoring Danielle for the time being.::

"Like...whoa. Seriously. Mark me jealous!"

::She then turns her attention to Dani, and gives her a smile.::

"I think I'm going to move into here too. But really? Librarians getting drunk? I think this is my kind of school."

"What was so cool?"

::Portia points a finger at Hayley.::

"Big wind summoning made her go invisible."

::Portia pauses.::

"What can you do?"

::The question is a challenge of sorts; are you cool enough to talk to?::

::Danielle raises an eyebrow, unused to this sort of challenging language. She decides to play it cool, acting like her power is no big deal.::

"I can make anything I want shatter into pieces."

::She shrugs.::

::Portia backs down, obviously impressed.::

(Great...Looks like I'm the weakest one...)

"Sounds cool."

::She looks to Hayley, and back at Danielle with a smirk.::

"So, I say we do something fun. We're here for magic, right? So let's do something magical."

::Portia tilts her head, thinking of possibilities.::

"Field trip to the Underworld? Or maybe we could summon something. That'd be fun."

:: Oh the joys of being a reckless teen!::

"The underworld? Are you stupid? Do you have any idea how dangerous that is?"

::Portia rolls her eyes.::

"Oh come on, live a little! Besides, you can blow things up, Hayley can make us go invisible, and hell, I could just tell whatever might try and attack us to bugger off and it'll leave."

::Danielle starts to look unsure of herself. Damned peer pressure! She also remembers Dante telling her to go places and 'blow shit up'. She sighs.::

"All the professors say it's really dangerous. I've been there. It's horrible."

"Yeah, but almost all of the professors are really drunk right now, right?"

::Peer pressure, peer pressure, peer pressure!::

"Besides, it's not like we're going to get any real experience, locked up in this place."

::Danielle stares at Portia. She's had plenty of real experience.::

"Have you ever met a demon before, Portia?"

"No, but now would be the perfect chance!"

::She's really trying to sell this. It's almost as bad as a used car salesman. Casting a glance at Hayley, she grins.::

"C'mon Hayley, back me up here. We need to do something that gets us out of this place. Sure, it's fun for awhile, but aren't either of you guys like...antsy? Itching to explore your magical origins? Wanting to blow stuff up?!"

"I do all of that and more here. Once I'm ready to fight demons, I graduate. That's how it works."

::Danielle stares at Portia.::

"Why would you want to go looking to get killed? Because that's what'll happen!"

::Portia shrugs.::

"Who says we'd get killed? All I know is that I need something to do to try and figure out my powers, because the only way I can is by using it on people, and whenever I do that, they freak out and bitch at me."

::She looks over at Hayley with a smirk.::

"No offense."

"Some taken."

::Hayley quips back.::

"It would be good to actually do something though... Girl bonding, if you will!"

::Hayley ponders what they can do, trying to work through possibilities. Though it sounds fun, Danielle really doesn't seem to want to head to the underworld.::

"Maybe we can do a spell or something."

"Spells are always fun, though I'm not so sure how much success they would be if I tried to cast it."

"Why? Have you ever done one?"

::Hayley looks sideways at Portia.::

"Maybe the three of us could, like, make it work real good!"

::Portia nods her head, hoping that would be true.::

"I'm only guessing it wouldn't work out so great since I'm a human, and most of you guys are witches."

::She looks to Danielle, giving her a smile.::

"C'mon. No harm can come from a spell."

::Portia then looks back to Hayley, letting out a sigh.::

"The biggest question is what kind of spell do we want to do?"

::All the warnings about personal gain whizz through Danielle's head, but... well, they're only spells, right? What's the worst that could happen? She gets closer to the other two with a suggestive smile.::

"What about a love spell?"

::Portia's eyes widen with intensity. Danielle has just earned major cool points in her eyes.::

"NOW you're talking!!! A love spell...It's perfect."

(We could so get some of those hot teachers swooning over us!)

"It is perfect!"

::Hayley's eyes light up.::

"...I'm not a witch, though. I'm, like, an alchemist."

::Portia shrugs.::

"Well, we've got a human, an alchemist, and...?"

::She asks, looking over to Danielle.::

"Who knows. Maybe just the fact that we're three young and powerful magical people, it'll work."
