Individual desks face a blackboard on a wall. There's an owl in a cage in the corner. Hoot. Hoot.

::Julie tries the door but it's locked, she looks around before blinking inside the room. She sits at the teacher's desk with her feet up on it, her sweater hanging off the back of the chair as she opens the book and reads on about dragons, trying to keep her mind off of Chloe and Andrea.::

::Danielle knocks on the door, a few loud bangs.::

"Professor?"

::She peers into the room through the glass window in the door. She doesn't know the door's locked, because she's a well-trained child that will only enter when told.::

::Julie puts the book down and gets up to open the door.::

"Something wrong Dani?"

"Mm..."

::Danielle looks apprehensive as she walks in. She checks behind her before moving into the classroom, then sits on one of the desks and stares at Julie.::

::Julie looks out before closing the door and turning to Danielle.::

"Are you okay?"

::Danielle keeps her mouth shut but lowers her eyes, which gives her true feelings away when she nods.::

::Julie moves closer and sits next to the girl.::

"Come on, Dani, what's the matter? You know you can trust me."

"I still can't control my stupid powers. Every time I try to make it work just by willing it, nothing happens, or something I don't want to happen happens, or I break a mirror and the other girls laugh at me. And whenever I don't want them to work, things just start... shattering! And I can't make them do what I want, ever!"

::A water jug on the table just smashed. Good thing it was empty, but the event frustrates Danielle more.::

"Ugh! See!?"

"First of all, take a deep breath. This is something that can be solved."

::Julie sits up straight.::

"I can help you control your powers if you're willing to be more patient."

"Why should I be more patient? I'm seventeen, for God's sakes! There are twelve year olds with more control than me! There are freaking children in diapers better than I am! I'm shitty, Julie!"

::She stops.::

"- Professor. This isn't fair!"

"I'm sure you've heard the saying 'life isn't fair', and let me tell you, it isn't."

::She looks directly into Danielle's eyes.::

"Nothing in life comes easy. You have been through more horrible times than a lot of people in this school, including some professors. You need to give yourself credit for being able to use your power as is, Danielle. Those twelve-year-olds you're talking about don't know the first thing about hardships. If you want to control your power you need to be more confident. You are not shitty, never said that again. You're a great person and you will be one of the most powerful witches I've known. Mark my words."

::Julie gets up.::

"Do you think it was easy for the Charmed ones to control their abilities at first? They were much older than you when they got their powers back, you know. And if it weren't for them, we wouldn't be alive now talking about power control. Have a little faith in yourself, Dani, it's all going to work out."

::Danielle stares at the floor, her lower lip lightly stuck out in a pout. Having somebody as talented and incredibly as Professor Liu tell her these things is really making her feel better. The conviction with which one of her favourite teachers, a woman she admires and aspires to, speaks is enough to make anybody feel empowered.::

"I just..."

::She pauses.::

"I don't know. It's just so hard not to look at the others and like... compare myself to them, you know? I'm sorry, you must think my problems are so stupid when there's so much bigger stuff going on."

::Julie sits down again with a small smile on her lips.::

"Dani, your problems are my biggest worries right now. I want to help you. I know how hard it is to be alone with no help when something is wrong and I would really love to help you figure this out. But I'm asking you to be more patient, you know that your powers are connected to your emotions. Your emotions are everywhere right now, we'll have to help you ground yourself before you can go around shattering more windows."

::Danielle is about to bitch some more, but she's also listening to what Julie's telling her.::

"So what? Should I take up Tai Chi or something? I prefer your style of martial arts."

::This is one thing that Danielle does excel in. Magic might be hard, but physical development is great. And gratifying when it comes to ridding yourself of frustration.::

"We could do Tai Chi or we could just talk."

::Danielle smiles, embarrassed.::

"Or we could just talk."

::She looks up at Julie and appears grateful.::

"I'd like that. Thanks."

::Julie smiles back.::

"Anytime. I'm around most of the time, you know."

::Danielle smiles tightly and nods.::

"Hey, do you ever miss working at P3? Cos you should teach me how to mix drinks."

::She grins cheekily.::

"And buy liquor for me. Apparently I'm not old enough, but stores don't know it's maturity in mind, not body, that really counts."

::Julie laughs so good.::

"Oh Danielle! You're absolutely great. I'll teach you to mix drinks when you turn eighteen, but unfortunatelly, I won't be buying you drinks unless they lower the drinking age. And I really do miss P3, so much."

::She sighs, still smiling.::

"But what you do now is more rewarding, right?"

"Oh let's see... teaching kids and seeing them better themselves doing something I love or getting hit on by disgusting drunk men..."

::Julie weights her options.::

"Tough pick, I must say."

::Dani giggles.::

"Both sound like hell to me."

"They're both quite fun."

::Julie smiles.::

"So, what do you want to aspire to in life?"

::Danielle just gives Julie a look.::

"Uhh..."

::Julie raises her eyebrows.::

::Poor Andrea needs her Julie, front entrance of BP.::

::Julie freezes in her seat.::

"Dani, I'm sorry. I have to go. Can we pick this up in a couple of hours? I'm so sorry. Here."

::She writes down her phone number for her.::

"Call me after your classes and we can continue this. I'm sorry."

::She genuinely is very very sorry to abandon the girl in her time of need, but it's Andrea. She blinks out from the classroom and to Hers and Andrea's place.::

::Julie blinks in.::

"Oh great! You're still here. Was looking for you. Want to come to a party?"

::She smiles hoping the young girl isn't too disappointed.::

"A party?"

::Danielle looks shocked.::

"Really? Where? Sure!"

"Excellent! Headmistress Halliwell had her baby today. We're having a few drinks back at home. Thought you'd might want to join us."

::Julie smiles and offers her arm.::

"Have you ever blinked before?"

"No."

::Danielle looks happy as she hooks her arm around Julie's.::

"Wow, she had her baby. That's gross!"

::Julie laughs.::

"It's a great birthday present, I'll tell you that."

::She winks at Dani before blinking them back to the kitchen.::

::Jasmine walks in with Danielle and goes to perch on the edge of the teacher's desk. She just manages to stretch her feet far enough to rest them on a student desk and smiles wickedly at Danielle.::

"Okay, this magic is a gift that's been coming through my family for generations and generations."

(Yeah right. We don't even have a clear family line anymore.)

"So for me to pass it on to you could lead to... my expulsion from my clan..."

(Dun dun DUNNN!)

::Danielle's eyes go wide, but more in excitement than concern.::

"You're gonna show me how to be psychic!?"

::Jazza looks mildly offended.::

"Hey! I'm telling you I could get kicked out of my family and all you're concerned about is nicking my powers?"

"I'm not-"

::Danielle pauses, looking slightly embarrassed.::

"Sorry..."

"No worries. I was lying, anyway."

::Jasmine looks satisfied and gives Danielle a smirk.::

"But I am gonna teach you something cool."

::Danielle grins, clearly excited.::

"But first..."
