They say this ancient building site is made entirely of kittens!

In The Magical Faraway Land of La Da Diddle Dee Dee, 'kittens' means 'bricks'.

::Dicevii sprints into the foundation, a ruin with several rooms and even upper floors intact, with Macha.::

"This place is a mess. There are kittens everywhere. Broken kittens, crumbled kittens, insect-chewed kittens. Children come here and throw kittens at each other. It is a true shame."

::He picks up a brick and drops it.::

"Macha, perhaps Abby likes kittens."

"It is not for me to know thus far."

::Macha kicks the brick away and then uses two to spark a flame into a torch he's found on the ground. This ought to keep the Lalalas at a safe distance. For now, at least.::

"But she is a specimen, no?"

"If I had to tear either in half..."

::Dicevii smiles slyly.::

"It'd be the other one. She is far less... childlike."

::Macha is still laughing at the 'tearing in half' comment.::

"Dicevii, you have always been so full of boastful words."

::He points at the other man's crotch.::

"And yet not much else."

::Dicevii rolls his head back, feeling challenged.::

"You think I will not? I bet Josie will be mine before Abby yours."

"With your approach? Ha!"

::Macha laughs.::

"Your doe-eyed affection will not get you any further when push comes to shove, brother. It does not relate to the end goal, does it?"

"I will not deny that."

::Macha smiles lightly.::

"But it makes it a world more entertaining."

"Subjugating yourself to woman? Pfft!"

::Dicevii makes a grab for the flame torch and swings it through the air, lighting up the ground and area behind him.::

"Your ideas of 'entertainment' differ strongly from mine."

"Not on the essentials, brother."

::Macha taps his nose.::

"Not on the essentials."

::He picks up another old, discarded torch and lights it on Dicevii's.::

"Come now. Let us get to a higher level, out of danger and the cold. I know you have reason to dislike it!"

::He gives Dicevii's crotch another pointed look then, laughing, runs with the other man up some decrepit steps to one of the upper floors where they light more torches, hang up their own, and lay restfully on piles of straw to await the girls.::

::Josie smokes in by the guys. Alone. Looking rather lost without her new friend.::

"Abby is gone."

"What?"

::Macha gets up.::

"She did not survive?"

(That's impossible...)

"No, not that. She just disappeared in a vortex of some sort. As for the 'evil creatures' I didn't seem to find anything evil about them."

::Josie sighs sadly, she misses Abby.::

"Oh... how strange..."

"I guess. Do you know anyone that can cast spells?"

::Dicevii gets up too.::

"The sex ritual? I can, but I need a woman..."

(Worth a shot.)

"What?! No! Not that kind of ritual! I need someone who can open the portal so I can find Abby."

"You must come with us."

"Okay, where are we going?"

(Kohan must have acted more quickly than we thought. This must mean that we are to take Josie, too.)

"A castle, not far from here. It is possible your friend is trapped there, along with Dicevii's sister. The Lalalas are known to imprison their prey before... how do you say... chowing down?"

::He glances at Dicevii.::

"Though be warned that if they see us, we will be killed. We must be quiet. Perhaps even disguise ourselves as prisoners, or attempt to win their affection by offering a sacrifice."

::Jos is really not liking this idea.::

"Next you're going to say that I should be the guinea-pig sacrifice."

"Sacrifice, perhaps. But what is a guinea pig?"

"Where I come from, it's another word for fool."

::Josie crosses her arms now.::

(I'm not a fool.)

"I say we use you as the sacrifice Macha."

"Yes, why not?"

::Dicevii gives Macha a smug look.::

"Let us try."

::Josie nods.::

"Good. I dub Macha the guinea pig and from the looks of it, you're outvoted. Thank you, Dicevii."

::Macha gives the other two a sour look.::

"Well. They prefer women. But well. I can see the way things are. Well."

::He's indignant, but sighs.::

"So come, it is a bright day, we should make the castle in good time."

::Dicevii smiles.::

(I must send the word to Kohan.)

"We could make you a woman."

::Josie smiles sweetly extracting her claws.::

(Then you won't hold Abby's hand anymore!)

::Macha's eyes widen with fear and he backs off.::

"Unnecessary! Quite unnecessary."

"If you're sure!"

::Josie smiles brightly and retracts them.::

"If you change your mind, feel free to say so. Now, how about you lead the way?"

::Macha grins weakly and shares a subtle look at Dicevii before they all set off under the beating hot sun to castle joy ecstasy la la whatever.::

::Quinn arrives at the Kitten Foundation. Already upon arriving here, with all these kittens around him, the android immediately starts to feel better. He picks up a kitten and throws it, laughing when the kitten smashes agaisnt the wall and fragments into multiple pieces.

Soon tiring of smushing kittens, Quinn wanders back the way he came - back to the city of ladeedadumdaawhatever - back to Wiccan and Co.::
