:: It would be rude for Azura of all people to pass judgement on her little sister's room given their very, very different tastes. Very rude. Very... rude. And she is married to Paige afterall, queen of tacky! Anyway! Having snagged something to wear on her way out of her shared room with Paige, she changes and slips into bed, switching the bedside lamp off and settling down to sleep.::

::Jasmine enters, ready for bed now, and watches her sister sleep for a while.::

(You kick, you die. You snore, you die.)

::She slides in beside her and rolls onto her side, facing away. Jasmine stares at the wall in silence for quite a while, thinking about a lot of things but one thing in particular - and it isn't her car.::

:: Unfortunately for Azura, Jasmine thinks a lot and she sleeps light. She whines and reaches out to poke Jasmine in the back. Several times.::

(... quiet.)

:: She isn't awake enough to be aware of what Jasmine is think, think, thinking about.::

::Distracted, Jasmine leans back slightly, confused by Azura's instruction.::

"Eh? Oh. Sorry, Azza."

:: Azura whines some more and rubs her hand across her face.::

"Something is bothering you."

:: She sounds all sleepy. Aw. Sleepy Az.::

"Something's bothering you too."

::Jasmine doesn't roll over properly just yet. She stays on her side with her head turned, face to the ceiling.::

"That'd be me."

"Talk to me."

:: Azura is staring now at Jasmine's back.::

"No."

::Jasmine turns her head back to the wall and closes her eyes, trying to make herself fall asleep. She sighs.::

"Stop staring at me."

"Jasmine..."

:: Azura only wants her sister to talk to her! Is that so bad?::

::Jasmine feels guilty now and rolls onto her back with a silly grin on her face.::

"You know, I said you could sleep in here, not meddle with my life in here."

::She turns her head and smiles cheekily at her sister to show she's just funnin'.::

:: Azura feels mildly embarrassed now.::

"Sorry. I just want-"

:: -to be a good big sister. And that means some meddling.::

"To meddle. I get it."

::Jasmine smiles again and then stretches out, an awesome-feeling full-body stretch, complete with satisfied squeaking noises.::

"Is that so bad? I only want you to talk to me."

:: Azura is lying on her side now with her arm tucked up under her head for support.::

"I know, Azza."

::Jasmine murrs to herself, unstretching back to normal size. She hugs herself for a moment then turns onto her side, face to face now with Azura.::

"Isn't this stuff with Melinda's powers weird?"

:: Azura pulls a slight face. More so from Jasmine choosing a completely different subject, than the mention of Melinda.::

"Very."

:: And her mixed feelings regarding the whole thing rears its ugly head again.::

"I mean... she was like my age. Paige must be seriously freaking out. Well, we know she is."

::Jasmine takes a breath and sighs it out with a slight head shake.::

"Poor thing. It'll be fine, but... better if we could skip all the stress that's gonna come in between."

"If only."

:: It would certainly make Azura's life easier. She knows Paige will be, and is a good mother. She has no idea what she, herself, will be. She sighs and stares at the covers rather than Jasmine's face.::

"Well, the kid'll love you or hate you, but she won't hate what you are. Apart from the parts where she's jealous of Paige's affection for you. But who isn't?"

::Jasmine gives Azura another of her classic grins. Did she just go there? I think she did! She does like a good ol' reference to when she got strung up for doing Paige behind Azura's back because IT TURNED OUT SHE WASN'T REMEMBER?::

:: Azura looks at Jasmine now and smiles a little. She's just dreading being properly introduced to Melinda now, afterall, she is now a huge part of Paige's life as well as her own.::

"I know you are."

:: She can joke easily about this now, and even prods her sister under the covers.::

"Hm."

::Jasmine smirks.::

"I don't need to be what with everything we get up to when you're not looking."

"You are hilarious."

:: Azura prods Jasmine again for her troubles.::

"You're very touchy."

::Jasmine catches Azura's hand and gives it a gentle claw before letting go.::

"When was the last time you slept away from Paige? Because if you start spooning me in the night I'm going to be afraid."

"Prepare to be afraid."

:: Azura really does miss sleeping next to Paige right now. It's... weird not sleeping in the same bed as her now. It doesn't feel right.::

"Great. The most action I'm going to see in months is my own sister."

::Jasmine sighs.::

"I need P3 to reopen. And to be called PGay. PGayForJasmine."

:: Azura smiles again and silently pats Jasmine's head. Pats it good.::

"Aw, thanks, that, you know, that just makes me feel so much better."

::Jasmine ducks her head away and snaps her teeth at Azura's hand, which reminds her Dar dropped in earlier.::

"You'll never guess who came and annoyed the hell out of everyone before."

:: Azura drops her arm onto the bed, her whole attitude changing suddenly.::

"Dar."

:: And how Azura is glad that Jasmine shares her sentiments of her old school acquaintance.::

"How'd you do that??"

::Feigns surprise.::

"I am amazing, that is why."

"Or you're psychic."

::Jasmine smiles.::

"Yeah, she was just wanting Ozy to go carry her chihuahua to the shops or something but meh."

:: Azura bristles, thankful that she wasn't in the room when Dar paid a visit.::

"I really, really do not like her."

"I know. At least she hates you just as much so hardly ever comes round."

::Jasmine stretches again, yawning.::

"Sorry I woke you up. You should go back to sleep."

:: Azura smiles a little and reaches out to touch Jasmine's face gently.::

"Are you sure you do not want to talk about anything else?"

::Jasmine pulls a face. Maybe at the contact, maybe at the subject!::

"Eh... it's nothing big, sis. I'm doing okay. Really."

::She really is, for the main part.::

"Really?"

:: Azura can be annoying when she is concerned. Very much so.::

::Jasmine smiles that burning fuse smile.::

"Yeees, really."

::She accentuates this with big nods on each word and raised eyebrows.::

:: Azura takes this as her cue to stop it.::

"I am pushing. I get it."

::Jasmine just smiles and then rolls onto her back. She rests one arm on her stomach and has the other thrown above her head, relaxed. She closes her eyes.::

:: Azura watches Jasmine for a moment. She really is tempted to push some more, but is smart enough to know that it would get her thrown out of the room.::

"Goodnight."

:: She closes her eyes then shifts closer to her sister. Closer. Closer. Clooooooser. Hey! She's used to being held while she sleeps.::

"Are you going to shove me out of the bed or do you always do some weird sort of dance when you go to sleep?"
