Title: Velma's Apartment

Basil - February 11, 2008 07:19 PM (GMT)
::Basil unlocks the door and lets Velma enter first.::

"Here we are."

::Can't be assed describing it and I'm sure you know the drill.::

Velma - February 11, 2008 08:58 PM (GMT)
:: Velma turns in a small circle and nods. It's average, no history, too new, but it will have to do.::

"This is fine."

Basil - February 11, 2008 09:09 PM (GMT)
"Wonderful. Here's the key."

::Basil hands Velma a set of two identical keys.::

"If you need anything, let me know."

::He leaves and walks downstairs to his office.::

Velma - February 17, 2008 02:38 PM (GMT)
:: Velma slips one of the keys into the pocket, the other she slips off and places in a sfae hiding place should she need it. The place is empty, but she has no need to fill it right now, instead she closes her eyes and concentrates on that familiar feeling of nothingness. Slowly, she becomes intangible. It's odd using it after a few weeks, she hasn't had the opportunity, it's been too risky until now. She walks towards her apartment wall and walks through, she ends up in Chloe's Apartment.::

Velma - March 4, 2008 10:18 AM (GMT)
:: Velma slips into her apartment easily. She picks up her key which she pockets before she retrieves her shoulder back into which she puts an apple, some sheets of paper and a box of charcoal sticks. She then exits into the hallway again, only now she's visible.::

Velma - March 7, 2008 11:11 AM (GMT)
:: Velma enters her apartment closes the door behind her. The necromancer dumps her bag on the couch and slips her jacket and shoes off before she retrieves a folder from under the coffe table. She sits on the couch crosslegged and pulls the grave rubbing from her bag. Now she picks up the folder and opens it, it's full of grave rubbings from every cemetry of every city she has visited since she sold her grandparent's house a few years back and started her travels. This new one is to join the others.::

Georgia - March 11, 2008 04:56 PM (GMT)
::Rat-a-tat-tat.::

Velma - March 11, 2008 07:26 PM (GMT)
:: Velma looks towards her door. She sets her book of grave rubbings to the side, then stands and goes to answer. Georgia isn't who she expected.::

"Hi."

Georgia - March 11, 2008 07:40 PM (GMT)
::Georgia's hand is still raised as if she's still knocking when Velma opens the door. She isn't who she expected, either.::

"Oh. Hi. Hello. Hi. Yes, I'm looking for sugar."

Velma - March 11, 2008 07:43 PM (GMT)
:: Velma gazes at Georgia for a second longer, then steps back and leaves it up to the other woman whether she wants to enter or not.::

Georgia - March 11, 2008 08:38 PM (GMT)
::Georgia takes this as an invitation and enters, wiping her feet before she steps in.::

Velma - March 11, 2008 08:41 PM (GMT)
:: Velma's banging around in the kitchen. She's putting some sugar in a tub.::

Georgia - March 11, 2008 09:15 PM (GMT)
::Well! This is nice and awkward! Georgia shifts on her feet and calls through to the kitchen from the living room.::

"It's a nice place you've got here!"

Velma - March 11, 2008 09:20 PM (GMT)
"Thanks."

:: Velma comes back out with the tub of sugar and tosses it to Georgia.::

"Here."

Georgia - March 11, 2008 10:01 PM (GMT)
::Georgia drops it and the lid falls off, showering the floor with sugar.::

"Oh, my goodness! I'm so sorry! Oh, no! Okay. I have an idea... I'll clean it up, I'm so sorry!"

::She takes the tub, and puts her hand inside it, then stares at the floor at the sugar that's all over it.::

"Sugar!."

::The sugar that had spilled all over Velma's floor bubbles itself onto Georgia's hand, and thus back into the tub. Georgia stands, looking sheepishly at the carpet.::

"I'm so, so sorry. I can wash the floor to catch any that might not have made it. I'm so sorry!"

Velma - March 11, 2008 10:03 PM (GMT)
:: Velma wonders why Georgia is fussing so much. She waves her hand in front of her.::

"Don't worry about it. I threw the tub at you, my bad."

Georgia - March 11, 2008 10:14 PM (GMT)
"Yes, but I didn't catch it properly. If there is one skill that should be learned as a child, it's the art of catching."

::She slumps her shoulders a bit.::

"I was going to make some tchai-tea, if you'd like some. My way of apologising properly, if you'll let me?"

Velma - March 11, 2008 10:18 PM (GMT)
:: Velma finds Georgia very... energetic. She thinks for a moment and then nods.::

"Sure."

:: She likes finding things out about people. Small things.::

Georgia - March 11, 2008 10:21 PM (GMT)
::Georgia brightens up.::

"You will? Oh, that's wonderful! Is your door self locking, or do you need to find a key?"

Velma - March 11, 2008 10:23 PM (GMT)
:: Velma fishes ker key from the table and holds it up.::

"Have it here."

:: She walks towards the door, but waits for Georgia to take the lead.::

Georgia - March 15, 2008 11:20 PM (GMT)
"Great. Well, follow me, then!"

::Georgia leads them both out to the hallway.::
