A new brand of negativity has swept through and our heroes are suffering dearly because of it. It's a sense of hopelessness and a helplessness that is so unimaginable that it has created such a great tension between us all.
After the entire Father Christmas fiasco, we found ourselves in tight quarters in the kitchen, which pretty much spells out disaster for us each and every time due to our unique and conflicting personalities. For instance, Sharon and I got into yet another fight (I'd provide you with the round number, but I don't think numbers are meant to go that high) over... well, whatever came to mind, mostly. After that settled down, the eldest Kohr sister left for Ireland to take a break from everything. As if that wasn't enough, certain dead people turned out to be not-so-dead. Take Aidan for example. He was apparently abducted by vampires, or so I've heard, and managed to escape with his life. I'm still to this day am wondering how he performed this feat. Maybe his blood tasted rank and they let him go. His reunion with Paz hasn't exactly been warm as the light-manipulating witch explained to Aidan that he has moved on. But has he? Let's pray to AP he has; that they both have.
While Aidan returned to us, we learned that another ally of ours was taken -- Sera. After searching high and low for the frowning slut, we learned of her demise. Some of us dealt with her death in a dignified manner like Jasmine, who mourned her. Others like Julie, Petunius and myself? We also mourned, but not for Sera. No, we mourned the empty bottles of alcohol that we were forced to stare at in our drunken stupors. The three of us started the classic drinking game "I Have Never," which was a nice release for us. Well it did for a while until I brought my own personal issues into the light-hearted fun by smashing my ex's violin to pieces and recording it on her voice mail while doing so. Yeah... how I'm going to get on Sharon's good graces again will be nothing less than an act of God.
The vampires have chosen this moment to strike us again and of course, we had to rely on the likes of Dante, Veronica and newcomer Georgia to fend off the bloodsuckers. However, this battle turned out to be a diversion so that our resident evil whore Meredith (who incidentally acquired Jasmine's powers from a power orb, courtesy of Majora) could glamour into Jasmine and Azura to have Aoife, Queen of the Vampires and her triplet minions (plus Astra) to capture the real Shamshay sisters. Additionally, Paige and Chloe were transformed into vampires during the fight and left with their new family to the Underworld.
Once Azura and Jasmine were taken to their prison, they discovered that Sera was actually alive all of this time and made our lovely drinking game seem not as offensive to Sera's memory. The women eventually escaped and some stuff happened and ... Paige was killed in the process. WOO! Unfortunately, our celebration was premature as the whitelighter in her ensured that the whore would survive and revert to normal. The quintet of lesbians returned to the school where Chloe was administered unicorn dust, which is said to be pure magic, and all was well for her. The women abandoned their small victory when they were welcomed with the destruction of the mansion's parlor, caused by Meredith planting explosives all around the room.
Soon enough, everyone was told about Meredith's machinations and we all had murder on our minds. Meredith being flogged to death with a porcupine. Meredith being drowned. Meredith being grilled on the barbie. Meredith being pureed in a blender. Meredith being nuked in a microwave. Meredith being brained to death with salami. Meredith sneezing herself to her doom. Meredith breaking her own neck. Meredith being run over by a steamroller driven by KT. And so on. When we finally had a plan of action, we summoned the evil sorceress to the school for her vanquish, but Majora came with the entire Underworld. He issued Paige a difficult ultimatum: let Meredith go or he'll sic the entire Underworld on us. Paige resigned and let Meredith go, which didn't go well with the majority of us.
And if these witches weren't irritated enough, a new whitelighter named Woody () came to the school to introduce herself to her charges (Paz, Petunius and Lirie), along with her no-nonsense attitude. Paige and I were also given new charges; Paige got Andrea and I got Melinda as well as Azura reinstated as my charge. What took the Elders this long to assign Andrea a whitelighter is anyone's guess. Better late than never, I suppose
While all of this is going on, a new possible threat remains under our radar and his name is Quinn. I'd go into details about his past, but then I'd probably screw it up somehow and you can go read it yourselves in his profile. What I can tell you is that he's working with Inspector Emery on a certain mall incident involving himself, Georgia, Portia and Aidan.
So that wraps up this chapter of A Charmed World and hopefully, our heroes will find a way to get out of these obstacles before more pile up on them.
Meredith breaking her own neck.
I like the porcupine flogging myself.
That would've been my second choice.
