The Combat Zone is the second of the outside buildings near the magic school. Past the thick security door, the room essentially resembles a high school gymnasium: the floor is polished wood with various lines and circles painted on it for the few times they do kick back and play conventional sport. About half of the floor is covered in heavy-duty foam mats. It's on these that Professor Liu trains martial arts. Locked away in the wall is a case of golden bracelets, which lock the wearer's powers until a teacher takes them off. This is because powers are prohibited in this building, and if any unruly student should break that rule, clink. It's lights off for them. There is various sport training and exercise equipment here, and plenty of room for all.

"Okie."

::A very proud Professor Liu enters with a certain Ms.Kohr and the youngest Halliwell.::

"Melinda, are you going to want to stay big when I teach you? Because I only have so many uniforms..."

(Until the school gets more money.)

::Melinda stares at Julie, not really understanding what she means.::

::Julie thinks about how to rephrase it more simply.::

"Do you want to be big or little when I teach you?"

::Melinda looks all the more confused.::

::Andrea approaches Julie and whispers in her ear.::

"Start saying stuff really loudly in Chinese."

::Julie whispers back to Ands.::

"Why would I do that? She'd probably cry."

::She looks back at Mel.::

"Never mind, Mel, come here."

::She goes over to a locker where she stores the new karategi and picks one out that would fit Melinda as an adult.::

"Here you go, you can change over there, okay?"

::Andrea smiles and shakes her head.::

::Melinda looks down at the folded up gi in her hands and then up at Julie.::

"... Do you know how to dress yourself Melinda?"

"Show me already!"

::Melinda looks angry now.::

::Julie gets serious, one thing she will not take is disrespect!::

"Relax! Come."

::She brings Melinda over to one of the changing room thingies and starts undressing her. She feels ridiculously awkward.::

"Okay, you see these tags, that means that this side is the back. So, you put your arms through here and then you tie the belt around here like this, watch closely, okay?"

::She ties Melinda's belt for her slowly.::

"Okay, do you want to try to do it?"

::Melinda, feeling anxious, shrinks to her child form.::

::Julie smiles.::

"You look adorable swimming in that uniform."

::She kneels down in front of little Melinda. She unties the belt and hands the two ends to Melinda.::

"It's okay. You can try it slowly. Here, I'll do it with you, okay?"

::She goes and gets her black belt and puts it around her back holding the two ends.::

"Are you ready, Mel?"

::Andy calls through.::

"How come she's getting a black one?"

::Melinda tries to loop the belt around and tie it but she's not managing so well. And the suit is way too big for her now.::

"She's not, I've got the black one. Come here, Andrea."

::Julie goes and gets Melinda smaller suit cos she feels bad for the girl now.::

"Here Mel, let's put these on, okay? It'll be easier for you now that you're small."

::She helps Melinda out of the big gi.::

"Do you wanna try and put it on by yourself?"

::Andrea heads over and assumes Julie will ask her to do something maybe?::

::Melinda pulls on the trousers. Thankfully they're an elastic waist so there's no problems there. She then puts on the jacket over her vest and fiddles with the strings.::

::Julie hands Andrea the big uniform.::

"Could you fold and put that away for me, please?"

::She watches Melinda.::

"Good job, Melinda! Here, you pull it like this, the you go over..."

::She does the steps very slowly.::

"Pull... then you make a bunny ear like this, the over and through the hold then pull and you got it!"

::Folding the suit over her arm, Andrea bows low with her palms pressed together.::

"Oss, Sensei!"

::It's cool to take the piss, Julie probably doesn't hear her because she's concentrating on Melinda. All the same, she runs off before Julie can hit her and folds the gi up, putting it back in its rightful place.::

::Not knowing what a bunny ear is, Melinda just shrugs and takes Julie's word for whatever the hell. A little while later, the knot is tied.::

"Well done! You do that better than Andrea already."

::Julie ruffles Melinda's hair.::

"Are you ready to try the belt?"

::Melinda makes a grab for the belt and, starting it from her stomach, wraps it around her back and then to the front again. She holds one side down and loops the other end around it before tying it in a tight knot. Wow. Melinda is teh win.::

::Overhearing what Julie said, Andrea pouts and sits on a punching pad.::

"Wow!"

::Julie is impressed. She smiles.::

"Excellent, little one! You catch on quickly! Now you're all dressed up to kick butt."

::She gets up and goes back out the the training area.::

"Come on then."

::Melinda grins widely and follows Julie out. She looks over at Andrea. Smugly.::

::Andrea narrows her eyes.::

"You're lucky I'm not joining in, Melinda. I'd kick your arse for sure."

::Melinda sticks her tongue out.::

::So does Andrea.::

"Will you too cut it out? I will not have either one of you behaving that way in my class. Is that understood?"

"It was her."

::Melinda points at Andrea.::

"It was both of you. Apologize to each other."

::Julie crosses her arms and stares at Andrea.::

::Melinda crosses her arms too, also glaring at Andrea.::

::Andrea gives Julie a sour look.::

"Melinda and Andrea, I do not like to wait. I want apologies and I expect you both to behave like good girls."

::Andrea sighs and gets up.::

"Sorry, Melinda."

::Melinda stares at Andrea, then Julie. She has no idea what's going on.::

"Melinda, when someone does something wrong, like hurt another person's feelings, they apologize to the other person because it's the right thing to do. See, right now Andrea said something bad to you but she apologized by saying sorry because she was wrong and she sees that. But you stuck your tongue out at her which wasn't nice, so you should tell Andrea that you're sorry."

"But I'm not sorry."
