::Peebles looks up when a pathetic little snake plops onto the ground and prods it with his stick.::

"Hoy, Earthworm Jim... change back. Pathetic."

::Karl slithers back from the stick as it hits him as he's in no real position to bite back at the moment. As he transforms back into his more human-looking self, there are a few bone-breaking crunching noises as bones disappear, reappear, elongate, shrink and move around in his body and after a few moments, he's back to looking human. The transformation is always a little rusty on his part, leaving a few bones aching for a moment or two, and the demon cracks his neck before properly looking at Peebles.::

"Yes?"

"Bit of a sneaky one, aren't you? With the snakiness and all."

::Peebles nods.::

"Mmm hm."

::He seems to be chatting to himself.::

::Karl stares at Peebles a little longer.::

(He's got a strange head.)

::After a moment or two, Karl gets bored of Peebles' head and chooses to look around at his surroundings instead.::

"Okay, so that transformation back to your normal self was easy, but in future, it's not going to be like that. Not for a while, anyway. You're new to this power, so it'll take time to get used to it. And there's the whole... worm... thing, too."
