::Basil opens the door to Kendra and her new apartment. It's just what she wants, not too big, not too small and not too expensive.::

"Here we are!"

::Kendra steps further into the room, looking around the place with a small smile.::

"It's perfect."

::She says out loud, her eyes still towards other areas of the apartment. She turns and looks to Basil now, her cute small smile still present.::

"Excellent."

::Basil smiles in that charming way.::

"Is there anything else or shall I leave you to it?"

"I think I'll be fine, thank you."

::She says, nodding her head gently.::

"You know where to find me if any problem crops up."

::Basil smiles at her before leaving.::

::With Basil gone, Kendra looks around the room a couple more times before walking over to a phone. She reaches in her back pocket, taking out a sheet of paper with various phone numbers written down of business in the area.::

"Now that I have an apartment, I need to be able to pay for it..."

::She blinks a couple times, looking up from the paper.::

"And now I'm talking to myself. Great. Maybe I should ask for a roommate at some point."

::Shaking her head, she picks up the phone and first dials Bucklands Auction House.::

::A woman's voice answers.::

"Buckland's Auction House, how may I help you?"

"Hi there, my name is Kendra Dawson. I was wondering if you were hiring any positions?"

"What sort of position is it you're looking for, Ms Dawson?"

"Well, I don't have all that much background or knowledge in the arts and whatnot, but I'm quick on my feet and could learn the basic appraisal techniques if given the position. But then again, a receptionist job would work just the same. I'm really looking for anything, to be quite honest, since I just moved here and everything."

"All right. Well, generally we just ask people to send a copy of their resume and covering letter through email. Would you like to do that?"

"Yeah, I'll send them over right now."

::She says, reaching in her bag and taking out her laptop. Since she's so wonderfully prepared, she already has the email address for Buckland's saved and the required stuff already typed up. Within seconds, the email is sent.::

"All sent."

"Thanks! I won't actually receive the email myself, but you'll probably receive a response from me. It shouldn't take too long. Good luck."

"That sounds great. Thanks!"

::She then hangs up the phone, letting out a soft sigh.::

"What to do now?"

(Besides talking to yourself, that is...)

::Figuring that it would probably be best to start exploring her new home, Kendra walks out the door and into the hallway.::
