The tunnel of doom leads from the Underbelly of the Training Block to an unknown location. The tunnel of doom, loosely described, can be pictured as thus:

Has bats.

It's not tall enough to stand up straight inside, so enjoy hunching in the mud and hitting your head of random low bits in the roof.

"OW!"

::Paige has socked her forehead on the roof within seconds of entering. She isn't even in the complete dark yet, red light from the Underbelly still framing her from behind and her flashlight spotlighting across the walls. She stops, seeing stars for a moment as flashing lights and orbs pop before her vision before it gradually clears and, pausing for just a moment longer, she wipes her forehead, checks it for blood, and continues forwards - carefully, this time.::

"You okay?"

::Petunius is immediately behind her, hunched low and concentrating on remaining that way as he continues onwards.::

"Yeah."

::Paige puts one hand on the wall, moving it up to the roof every now and then, though her torch beam now warns her of oncoming low segments.::

"Looks like it's pretty long, Pet. This could take a while."

::Her foot sinks into a puddle of mud on the bottom and she winces, then takes another step. It's still wet. Great. Now she has to deal with ruined shoes as well as general dirt and muckery. Not that she wasn't already filthy from the explosions, but this is just taking the piss.::

"It's cool. It's not like either of our social lives are getting their doors beaten down anyway. May as well face it Matthews hyphen Halliwell hyphen Shamshay. We're past it."

::Petunius squelches through more mud and what may be bugs, but he's not quite sure. Long as they're dead and more importantly, stay dead.::

"Kay, Halverado."

::Zing.::

"This is actually gross. And god does it stink!"

"It smells about as bad as that beauty 'treatment' stuff you used to leave in the bathroom."

::Walks some more.::

"HoloPrue didn't give any more clues as to what we're looking for exactly, I'm guessing."

"Uhh-"

::Paige stumbles a little.::

"Watch that part. No, not really. She said something about not needing our powers, which I guess is pretty handy. Otherwise, she was as cryptic as ever. Except at a really bad time this time."

::Petunius just narrowly avoids the bit that Paige buckled on and grimaces.::

"Yeah, no kidding. Those things were somehow way worse than flying bug things or demonic sheep."

"What things?"

[The sound of an explosion resounds up the tunnel from behind, bringing with it a small, warm gust of air.]

::Paige is pushed forwards, just a tiny bit, and stops walking.::

"Jesus, let's go back!"

::She tries to turn; there isn't much room, then stops.::

"No... we gotta find out what's on the other side. Whatever's happened back there's happened. Damn it, Petunius, let's hurry the hell up!"

::Instead of making her way forward slowly and carefully, Paige gets a move on now, tripping through the muck but making much quicker progress.::

(I think I see light.)

"Come on then!"

::Petunius doesn't need telling twice. He picks up the pace and runs forward as best as he can.::

"Not so loud! Geez!"

::They run into the throne room. Yes, the one you're thinking of. You know, the vampire one.::

::From the vampire throne room, Petunius is swiftly ejected back into the tunnel and is followed by one of the infamous vampire triplets, Elle.::

"Isn't this exciting?"

"Smells like things got a little damp in here."

::Angeline is behind them now. Even one vampire would be enough to prevent Petunius from going back.::

"We should've brought a snack, Elle."

"One mile of walking is too much for you, sister?"

::Elle chuckles and breathes on the back of Petunius' neck as they walk.::

"Well, if you get hungry along the way..."

"After all, our obligation rests only with she who slaughtered the queen."

::Angeline smiles in the darkness, though she can see perfectly.::

"Not necessarily her consorts."

"Come to think of it... I feel a little peckish myself..."

"Hey, hey let's ease off on the snacking talk okay?"

::Petunius subtly wipes his sweaty palms on his jeans.::

(Why? Why the hell can't vampires just stay dead? Just...why?)

"Perhaps we should. His fearsweat only makes him smell better."

::Elle licks her lips and pushes on.::

"Angeline, the floor here is thick..."

"Don't touch the roof. This place could crumble at any second."

"Ahh, a pleasant thought, no?"

::Elle snickers. They keep walking.::

"We've come, perhaps, half a mile. Same again to go. Sister, shall we go for a more subtle entrance so we don't find ourselves riddled with projectiles at first show?"

"If they can hit us. You've seen how poorly that fat one with the telekinesis aims."

::Angeline walks on in contempt.::

"And if her little Chinese friend is there, we may have to have a word or two following their annoying escape during our last encounter."

"I like Chinese food."

"It was fun to watch their entire apartment burn down, admittedly..."

"It wasn't the only thing in their lives you could describe as 'burnt out'."

"Why, sister! What on earth could you be implying?"

::Angeline reaches out in the darkness and touches Elle's hair affectionately.::

"I wonder if Cadelle has had her way with the Charmed One yet."

::Yes, they really are discussing eating people like Julie and Paige in front of Petunius, casual as the weather.::

"You don't think she will, do you?"

::Elle turns her head at the touch, nuzzling into her sister's hand.::

"She may have, already."

::Angeline tries to up the pace, though being at the back of the line makes that difficult.::

"She's had her eye on her for some time. As have we all. After all... with her bloodline..."

"Psh. Still a halfcast."

::Elle gives Petunius a friendly shove to get him walking faster.::

"Giddy up, witchy-boy. We weren't joking when we said the roof might collapse."

::Elle's 'friendly shove' almost causes Petunius to buckle over something on the floor and land face first but a quick reach to both sides of the wall luckily prevents that. Breathing hard, the powerless witch continues the trek forward, silently wondering if it would be such a bad thing if the roof did collapse. It's not like they're not all going to die anyway.::

"I think, perhaps, it'd be wise to allow the witch to explain before causing chaos."

"But chaos is so fun."

::Angeline whines, deftly avoiding all of the stumbling blocks Petunius is probably tripping over.::

"And such an attractive god, too."

::Elle snickers.::

"Angeline!"

::Her laughter echoes eerily up the tunnel.::

"Not in front of the innocent."

"Oh, he's not innocent. You can smell it off him."

"True."

::Elle's sharp eyes focus slightly; the tunnel is beginning to lighten just a tiny bit.::

"We're nearly there."

"Let's accompany him in style. As much as drama could be avoided, I don't see the fun in doing so."

::Angeline grins, her teeth glinting from the oncoming light.::

"Besides, we might miss something fun otherwise."

"That's fair."

::Elle suddenly pauses, grabbing Petunius and yanking him back.::

"What say we ditch the witch and make our entrance solo?"

::Angeline chuckles.::

"What do you say, Pet? Feel like playing along in our little game?"
