Thought I'd just start a new thread about the death of members, prompted by the recent departure of Link. Well, can't say he didn't have it coming. When I read the RPG, it looked like karma was taking a long time to put on it's big metal-toed boot to seek revenge on him, but, seems like it has. Can Link still post here? How does it feel to be the first death of a proper character?

Link should be able to post in these forums, but not in The World.

Actually, Laura talked to me beforehand and said her character was still alive. I said it didn't matter, as she'd just disappear into ACW's continuity, which is now rivalling Charmed's.

At least she had reason to die other than a hissy fit.

I think we have quite the collection of wierd and irrational self-deaths, ie - Justin's self neck breaking; Laura's self sneezing+jumping out of the windows; Parker's the whole going-to-the-Source-to-purge-my-soul thing was also quite suicidal... *le sigh*
