A circle-pit of swirling water. Strange lights glow at the bottom, but anybody who has tried to explore has met their death. Rumour also has it that strange creatures live in the water...

::The flickering flame from the torch glows and lights up this dank cave, the walls dripping with water spray from the gapin pit of swirling current in the center of the cavern. Paige, still clinging onto Vince's arm, looks around nervously.::

(What... are those...)

::She cranes her neck to see into the whirlpool, looking at the strange lights at the bottom.::

"Do you see them, Vince?"

"I see them. I don't know what they mean or what to do now... but I see them. Should I freeze the water? I could try and make a path down to them or something."

::Vince looks into the water, not sure what to do::

"Well how about I... glowy things!"

::Paige thrusts her hand out towards the whirlpool, intending on orbing the light into her hand, but nothing happens.::

"Huh. Maybe they're stuck down. I don't think we should go any closer. That current looks really strong, it could pull us right under if we slipped."

"So what? We just stand here and stare at them? As far as plans go I've heard better."

::Vince takes Paige's hand and moves them back from the edge::

"Yeah let's... let's go back that way..."

::Giving Vince's had a small squeeze, she tries to project her thoughts to Phoebe and Petunius.::

(Guys? Where are you?)

::No answer.::

"Bugger. They must be far away..."

::Vince slips his hand behind Paige and rests it on the small of her back, leading them back the way they came to the Caves::

::The Vampire scout flies into the cave containing the whirlpool, wheels around the cave mouth and morphs back into her human-like form. She shuts her eyes and breathes deeply, focusing her thoughts and then transmitting them to her Queen::

(My Queen, there is an intruder. She moves like one of us, yet she doesn't smell or have the same... I don't know. I don't understand. You should be wary. I'm sidetracking them away from the Throne Room, to the Whirlpool. If I can destroy them I'll join you soon... if not... well, let's just hope it doesn't come to that)

::With that done the vampire cuts off her telepathic connection to the queen and readies herself for a fight::

::Luke walks into the whirlpool, relieved that there was some light in this area. He looks around for a vampire or ninety-six, clutching his holy iced sword firmly.::

"Where are these bitches, anyway?"

::The Vampire slips out of the shadows and glides over to Luke. She brings her foot up to his wrist and knocks the iced sword loose. Without waiting for it to land she lashes out her hand and grabs the hilt, only to release it seconds later with a hiss::

"Holy water? Surprisingly thoughtful for a human. Another surprising thought is the one in which you thought you had a hope of winning."

::She kicks the sword, now lying on the ground, and sends it skidding into the whirlpool. It sinks beneath the surface with a faint plopping sound. The Vampire springs upwards and aims a double kick at Luke's chest::

(Oh, fucking AP!)

::Luke is propelled backwards by the vampire's sudden kick. His back ices up just as he hits the ground. Watching his sword sink to the bottom of the whirlpool, Luke conjures up an icy sword, though taking a few moments to escape this disorientation.::

::The Vampire's face crinkles with annoyance as another sword materialises in Luke's hand. She slams her foot into it, shattering the ice, and then picks the witch up by the collar. She walks over to the whirlpool's edge and holds him out over the swirling surface::

"Tell me what you want with us here. Or I'll drop you in."

::A pair of hands extend from behind the wall, unleashing some powerful explosive energy that strikes the rock ceiling directly above the vampire's head, causing various boulders to cascade down towards her. Petunius steps into the room, hands still outstretched.::

"One of your kind sired an innocent. We're just here to slay the bitch who's responsible for keeping her as a vampire."

"You moron!"

::Luke flicks his hands backwards to freeze a portion of the whirlpool, should he fall back. He looks to the boulders as they fall towards him as well.::

(Fuck.)

::The Vampire, swings Luke away from the water and up over head, protecting herself as the boulders rain down. She flicks her gaze down at the whirlpool, where the fast moving water was already eating away at the ice::

"No one has sired an... innocent... not to my knowlege. And as to your other comment... I don't know what you're talking about. There are no rules governing Vampires and what keeps them in their state. Do not presume to speak of things you obviously know nothing about."

::Theo walks in to see the fight.::

"Hey vampire bitch! Over here you batty whore!"

(Why the hell did he blow up rock right over Lukes head? Wait, why did I just call that vampire over here. Theo you will never learn.)

::Pulling out his athame he prepares to use it just in case.::

::Petunius quickly flicks his hands out again and freezes the cascading boulders when he sees that she intends on using Luke as a human shield.::

"Spare me the bullshit. I know about your precious Queen and all her little lackeys that hide within any dark corners. One of them bit a human and the only way to turn her back is by killing the Queen."

::He pauses for a moment when Theo barges in and attempts the "tough talk" but ignores him and turns back to the vampire.::

(God, shut the fuck up you goddamn moron.)

"And if I 'don't know what I'm talking about'? We can just stay here until you tell me."

::Luke nearly screams like a girl, as the boulders fall towards him. Relieved that Petunius managed to freeze them, Luke touches the vampire's hand, icing up his hands. He concentrates on freeze drying the undead bitch.::

"Are you words, full of misplaced self-important worth, meant to scare me? Intimidate me? Make me break down and beg for mercy as I betray the secrets of my kind?"

::The Vampire cuts off her condescending tirade as Luke begins icing her head. With a shiver she hefts him through the air, sending him hurtling towards Theo. Realising that the frozen boulders were still above her she backflips, landing on the other side of the whirlpool::

"Now leave, before I rip your throats out and use them for various nefarious deeds."

::Luke gasps as he is thrown towards Theo, though his feet were flying first towards Theo's face.::

"Incoming!"

"Sorry. Can't do that."

::Petunius recalls the truth spell and once again rearranges it to fit this scenario.::

"For those who want the truth revealed,
Open hearts and secrets unsealed,
From now until it's now again
After which the memory ends
For those who are now in this cave
Shall hear the truth, both cowardly and brave."

[The spell works, putting everyone under the effects of the truth spell until 1:28 am on the 9th of July. Have fun]

"Oh dear, the Wiccan cast a spell. I'm so sca- actually I'm not scared. I'm confident in my abilities and have no doubt that I'll soon be washing your blood from the walls."

::The Vampire tilts her head to the side, wondering why she was unable to sarcastically lie about her fear, and then she replays the words of the spell in her mind::

"Truth Spell. And it worked. So you have a little power after all. How much power do you have? How are you planning on using it to stop me and my kind?"

"Actually, yes. We intend to, well that is...I intend to stop you. You see, you're right. I do have power. Quite a lot of it, seeing as a power switching spell took place and I temporarily became a Charmed One. Guess what? I like having that power. And honestly? I was hoping you'd just give us the answer and we'd just follow through with it. So tell me, what exactly are your weaknesses? And how do we turn our innocent back to a human?"

"My weaknesses are few. Stakes to the heart, fire, holy water. Standard means to kill a Vampire. I would have thought even one such as yourself would know that."

::The Vampire glares, and tries to stop herself talking, but can't. She grudgingly spits out more information::

"If the Vampire has tasted blood then there is no way to turn her back... other than one. But it is painful to go through and doesn't garuntee any chance of survival. The same procedure is used if the Vampire hasn't tasted blood, only it poses no risk to her and will restore her fully. You need to find the... the..."

::She tips her head back and screams, an unholy metallic sound, anger mixed with fear tinging her eyes::

"Damn you and your spell! I must... resist... spell..."

::She drops to her knees and digs her fingers into the rock, extending her nails like talons as she fights the truth spell. After a few seconds her head droops defeatedly and she whispers out a few more words::

"The Elixir of Life."

::Petunius grins widely, obviously enjoying the vampire practically give him the answers on a silver platter. As she drops to her knees, he smirks, pleased at the result.::

"That wasn't so difficult, was it? The world would be such a better place if people just co-operated with others who are more powerful than themselves. You've been a great help. Now, run along back to whatever hole you crawled out of, before I personally inform your Queen of your unimaginable treachery."

::Luke narrowly misses Theo, landing on his injured arm. He stands up slowly, looking to Petunius and the vampire exchanging words with one another.::

"What's going on?"

::Petunius turns to the sight of Luke lying on the floor before turning back to the vampire.::

"I just saved all your asses singlehandedly by making our friend here warble like a canary. No more endless bickering and ensuing bitchery. We have an Elixir of Life to find. Pronto."

::He turns back to the vampire and flicks out his hands, unleashing the strongest explosive force he's released so far, hoping to blow her up once and for all.::

"Where is this Elixir of Life, anyway?"

::He looks to Petunius, not aware that the truth spell was in effect.::

::Theo squints as Luke falls on his arm.::

"Ow ow ouch....that really didnt hurt that bad."

::Theo pulls back as he realizes what he said.::

(Damn truth spell.)

"Yeah, where do we find it and all that?"

"I just asked where the hell it was, you FUCKWIT!"

::Luke glares at Theo, smacking him upside the back of his head. He still didn't realize that a truth spell was cast as he would have hit Theo regardless.::

"Moron."

::Theo stands up::

"I realize that you are one of those hick "wife-beater" types but lets get something straight. I am not your bitch so for the duration of this little "quest" you dragged me on, keep your fucking hands off me. Stop trying to make me feel like shit! God what makes you think you can do that to someone?! I dont have a sign on, saying pick on me! You hardly know me, so lay off! I never did a thing to you so leave me the hell alone!"

::He walks over against the wall and crosses his arm locking Luke in a death stair.::

(Fucking truth spell is going to get my ass kicked.)

"No and I can hit you upside the head because I am better than you, brat."

::Luke rolls his eyes, as Theo's death stare reminded him of a constipated chimpanzee. He smirks, continuing speaking.::

"Do you seriously think that I feel threatened by your 'death stare'? Seriously. Repeating a question I just fucking asked is pointless. Almost as pointless as your power."

::Luke turns to the vampire.::

"Aren't you going to answer my question?"

::Theo sighs as he uncrosses his arms::

"Listen, I dont know why there is so much tension between us but we need to put it aside."

::Theo turns to the vampire with mock interest.::

"Answer him or he might hit you too."

::Petunius closes his eyes and rubs his temples, getting increasingly annoyed at the two witches fighting like cat and dog. He finally loses it and turns on them both.::

"Both of you, just SHUT. YOUR. FUCKING. MOUTHS. Otherwise we're gonna have two dead witch pieces all over the concrete floor. Better yet, I'll shut them for you..."

::He flicks his hands out at Luke and Theo, freezing them and rendering them completely unmovable before turning back to Paige.::

"Will the Book of Shadows have something on this Elixir of Life?"

::The Vampire pushes herself flat on the ground, avoiding the blast from Petunius and then springs forward, leaping across the whirlpool and turning into a bat in mid-air. She swoops out of the cave and off down the passage to the Throne Room::

::Paige watches the bat fly off and then turns to Petunius::

"You really shouldn't keep freezing them like that. One of these days you'll mess up and end up blowing them to pieces. With great power comes great responsibility and all that."

::She pushes Luke and Theo out of the freeze and begins walking out of the Whirlpool cave and into the main Caves::

"The Book of Shadows has stuff on most things, we'll head back and take a look."

::Theo looks around wondering what happened.::

"Did you freeze me again?"

::He follows Paige to the Caves.::

::Petunius ignores the idiot's idiotic question and heads back to the caves.::

::Luke finally leaves for the caves.::
