Free Battle Zone? WTF is that?

I'm glad you asked, since you clearly can't work it out for yourself. The Free Battle Zone is a place where you can come and fight each other, for no reason at all! It doesn't matter who you are, what your powers are, and what your capabilities are. You can fight.

So... do I need to come here from a seperate thread in ACW?

Nope. This is much like posting in your Diary. It has no effect whatsoever on your character outside the world. In all senses. If you fight loads here, you won't be stronger out there. Your relationships with people won't change. This is a completely seperate thing.

Woah, I can fight my friends?

Sure can! If you've ever wanted to test yourself against any of them, here's your chance!

But staying in character, since they're my friends, wouldn't that be impossible?

I've developed a method that will make this work. On entering the battle, you do not know anybody. Your character is essentially the same person, just you won't know who you're fighting. So that problem is elimanated. You come in a stranger to everybody else, and they enter as strangers to you. Thus? No problem to bag their asses!

Sweet. What about death?

Realism we strive for, remember? If you die, just post so, and get rid of the body somehow! Make it disappear, disintigrate, w/e. You can enter the battle again straight away. Check out the example thread to see what we mean.

Is there a limit on how many battles I enter?

Not particularly. Obviously you can't enter both the good and evil battles, as you're either on one side of the other. Use your common sense and that should fare you well.

Am I allowed to challenge people to one on one fights?

Yes, but you must PM them the request to fight, and if they agree, you must PM me, TPTB, with your request for us to open up a seperate thread for you. It will only be as a special occasion that you are allowed to fight one on one, and we'll let through the people who will show us a good fight, because moderation will become too much. The fight is over as soon as someone dies. You can also request to fight as a "group" versus "group" or "group" versus "one person". Just make sure everybody has agreed to take part, before PMing me for approval.

Yes. The point I (KT) came up with this forum is so that anybody who is waiting, and frequently has to wait for a response from NPCs or other players has something to do while they wait. This forum is aimed particularly at those losers who are logged into ACW all the time. If you can't manage to check in every day, at several points during the day, then I advise you not to join the battle. You'll defeat the whole purpose if people end up waiting for you to react.

Will potions and spells come into play?

Any type of weapons that can be used? Like those that are stand alones and not created by a power or a spell.

No potions and spells. We're trying to keep this place as un-moderated as possible because I don't want more work for myself and the staff.

So far, none of the battles allow the use of weapons. However, you may use common sense. For example, in Battle Royale, you're on an island. You might find rocks and branches to use as weapons.

At the moment, there are no battles where manmade weapons such as guns, axes and swords can be used - but there will be, depending on how popular this forum proves.

About after dying, you disappear somehow...

I was thinking... That disappearing...

Can be into a shower of sparks, into white orbs, fires into the air into a fireworks... falls to the ground in dust... etc etc...

So almost any types of disappearing act would do okay after dying?

As long as you get rid of the body.

Ok, yes we can enter as many battles as we want, but how many can we enter simultaneously? Is it only one at a time?

Enter them all at the same time, as long as you put in the effort to post there.

Can we battle our second characters?

Can there be like Tag-Team Matches? I was interested in joining in this, but my power only lets me heal others :(
