| [Get back here. You don't decide how a spell works. We do. You haven't gone anywhere, except for a little swim, since the spell knocks both you and Shinji into the lake as a nice little backfire for your troubles. Walk to Lee.] |
Okay... When did Shinji or Faith decided hwo the spell works... Shinji hopes the spell would do what he hopes it'll do. But all he did was say words.
Tell me why this result is incurred please. I do not know or don't get. Explain thanks.
Walking to Lee is impossible. Cain didn't leave a sign behind saying: "I've taken Lee to the Forest, so find us there." or anything similar. Even if it did, the Forest is kind of huge... They mgiht have heard Lee's use of power. But trees help echo sound because of the area and waaa, can't pinpoint location.
But whatever. If TPTB makes the decision like that then yeah sure. I'll go along with it. But I just want to know why that's all.
I went to the thread in question and don't really see what TPTB's post is on about. It's true, you didn't move. Let's put it down to a misreading incident by whomever was the posting person.
However, as for the 'walk to Lee', I believe the intended command would have the result of the two of you basically finding your legs moving without you knowing where to, until arriving there. That's how I'd interpret it (and therefore, how you should also interpret it, or else :P)
What had happened was Faith responded to the post and assumed that the spell Shinji cast was a teleportation spell and decided the results, thereby causing herself to teleport to Lee. TPTB took action to fix what was wrong.
What Luke said. The reason is made clearer in the actual Forest thread. But Shinji, do what KT said and literally walk like you've never walked before to Lee.
Ooo... Okay then. Let's continue. Thanks people.
