A mysterious realm where pillars reach into the skies and mist covers the soft ground. Meet other Whitelighters, and hopefully nobody else.

::An orb cloud appears and discards Crystal before leaving back to Luke's Penthouse.::

"It's like he thinks I can't do exactly the same as him..."

::Orbs back to Luke's Penthouse.::

Paige finds herself here, and her powers aren't working so she can't escape.

::Paige holds her stomach, feeling nauseated from the forced appearance. She recovers quickly, though, and glances around. She seems to be alone. Guessing she's in trouble, at least for the disobeying if nothing else, Paige puts on a whitelighter robe and pulls the hood up. It gives her a little sense of protection as well.::

Paige is called to enter the Elders' chamber.

::The whitelighter swallows, suddenly very nervous. Is it because she forgot to tell Andrea she's her whitelighter? Ha, as if. That's a tiny thing, compared to everything is. She's scared now, but it's not as if she can get out of this - and she has tried. Taking a deep breath, Paige walks through to the Elders' chambers.::

::Leo and Melinda are up here between charges. Melinda even has a mini-robe! Leo grins, showing her off to other whitelighters, then receives a call. A really urgent one.::

"Melly, honey, I'll be right back."

::He swiftly orbs out.::

::But seriously. Who leaves a tiny kid to her own devices up there? Melinda skips around for a while until she comes to the Forbidden Room which, naturally, she slips into without being seen.::

"I don't think so, kid."

::A whitelighter grabs Melinda before she gets into the room and orbs her to her mother in the attic of the manor.::

[It's everybody's favourite whitelighter, Luke!]

::Luke is confused briefly by his surroundings and sighs defeatedly upon confirming the environment.::

(Oh, for the love of God...)

Luke is being summoned into The Elders' chambers.

::Luke drags himself to his bosses' chambers.::

::Melinda orbs around and darts from figure to figure, glancing under the robes to see if any of them is Paige. She makes a game of it, gambolling around the area, then orbing from place to place.

Then her attention is stolen by the Forbidden Room, which she had been prevented from entering last time she was here. Nobody's in this area. Not right now. She checks to make sure. Then creeps quietly inside.::

::Leo orbs in and stares wildly around.::

(Melinda?)

::He doesn't particularly want to yell for his daughter in front of other whitelighters. So he looks for her. Then he starts calling her name.::

::Woody orbs in and overhears Leo calling out. She locates him and jogs over.::

"Leo! Do you know what's going on?"

::Leo turns, looking confused.::

"W-what?"

(Woody?)

"At the school, Leo."

(Wake up!)

"Jasmine and Petunius have both received new powers. But I'm being led to believe they're acting strangely."

::Leo doesn't seem to be taking any of this in.::

"..."

::He shakes his head, remembering something.::

"I'm looking for Melinda."

::Woody's mouth opens a little and she stares. The guy is clearly in some kind of daze. It must be because of Paige.::

::Finally, Leo comes to his senses.::

"What new powers?"

"Jasmine can fly and literally Chloe into an owl. Like, literally."

::Leo frowns. An owl?::

"Luke told me that Petunius forged a flaming sword out of a fire poker."

"... flaming?"

"Yes."

::Woody nods once.::

"On fire."

"..."

(Forging weapons out of...)

::The whitelighter's brow furrows more deeply.::

"Was there anybody else?"

"I don't know. Leo..."

::Woody wets her lips, then purses them.::

"The things Jasmine was saying... like she didn't care about what had happened to Paige. Like she'd just accepted it... and, and once Chloe had transformed, she called her a 'sage'."

"Oh god."

"Exactly."

::Suddenly both whitelighters turn and march into the forbidden room.::

::Monica darkorbs in and glances around. She never comes here, so has no bearings of the place.::

::If you thought whitelighters were the passive type, you might be wrong. At the sight of black orbs, spears are grabbed and Monica is surrounded with several sharp points almost embedded in her face.::

::Monica stiffens, putting her hands up slowly.::

(And this is why I never come here.)

"It's just me. Get a grip, will you?"

"You shouldn't be here. You have no purpose in this realm."

"Actually, I do. Seeing as how all you lot seem to be itching to help with the little god situation by standing around up here click-clacking at each other, some of us have decided to take some initiative and actually do something."

"Leave, before The Elders sense you are here. This is no place for a darklighter half-breed like yourself."

::One of the whitelighters spits at Monica's feet.::

"Go back where you belong."

::Monica bares her teeth. So much for peace, love and understanding: the whitelighter way.::

"I don't belong here, there or anywhere. I'm just trying to help. So kindly..."

"We don't need your help."

::One of the whitelighters thrusts the spear forward, almost attacking her properly.::
