A big ol' gate that's rarely closed which you can go through to get into the park. A good place to arrange to meet folk.

::Andrea pulls up with Petunius, Lirie, Lily and Azura and quickly gets out of the car, coughing.::

"Okay, I don't know if it's meant to smoke like that..."

:: Azura is out of the car in a flash. Normally she is okay with travelling in cars as long as the windows are down but... not this time. She just about hyperventilates once she has walked a good few feet from the car. Rounding on Andrea she points at her.::

"You are never driving a car with me in it again!"

::Andrea has more important things to worry about.::

"I think it's on fire..."

:: Azura finally looks at the car properly. Now she is worried.::

"Then we should get away from it before it gets worse."

"Well, it'd be helpful if you could, you know, help me get those three out!"

::Andrea pulls open the rear door and smiles sexily at Lirie, Lily and Petunius.::

"We're going, now!"

::She drags them out and over to the park, with Azura.::

[We're not gonna lie to you guys. Petunius' car explodes.]

::Trix eyes the wreckage of Petunius's car and walks to the lake.::

::Carys walks up to the gates and stands by them, fiddling with a bracelet on her wrist.::

::Paige mosies on up and smiles when she sees Carys.::

"You beat me."

::Carys grins.::

"As always."

::She looks around, into the park.::

"Want to go walk?"

"Sure."

::Paige looks worried for a second, but conceals it as well as she can. She runs her tongue along the inside of her teeth and walks into the park with Carys.::

::Paige quickly walks out of the park, trying not to let her feelings get on top of her. She heads home.::

::Josie smokes in with Valerie behind the gates. She lets go of her hand and rubs her own neck.::

"Ugh! He's so gonna get it!"

::She frowns deeply, getting so teh angries.::

::The warlock blinks in and looks around.::

"You're pretty brave, using your magic in broad daylight."

::He advances on them.::

"Not that easy to get away."

::Woah. Blinking, Val watches Josie.::

"That was fun."

::Looks around.::

"Maybe there is something over there."

::Points in the direction of the park just as the warlock blinks in.::

"My god. What do you want?"

::Josie puts herself in front of Valerie staring at the warlock.::

"I have nothing to fear."

::She turns her head.::

"Get out of here Val."

::Val nods and backs away. She ends up at the playground.::

::Pulling out an athame, the warlock lunges at Josie.::

"Normally I wouldn't be so open out in the... open... but for you, I'll make an exception."

"Aw thanks."

::Josie moves out of the way, elbowing the dumb fuck in the back of the neck.::

"I really wouldn't piss me off if I were you. I'll let you buy me a popsicle and we'll just make believe this didn't happen."

::She smiles.::

"I'll buy you a popsicle if you shove it in your ass."

::The warlock snarls, holding onto his neck, still checking for any bystanders in case they get seen. He lobs the athame at Josie.::

::Josie grabs the athame.::

"You really should work on your manners."

::She frowns.::

"Repeat after me: I'm sorry for trying to kill you Josie."

::She smokes behind the warlock ramming the athame into his ribs from the side.::

::Too busy dying to have time to scream, the warlock disappears in an explosion.::

"What the hell!?"

::Across the road, a police officer sits in his squad car, having seen the whole thing. He picks up his walkie talkie and transmits a frenzied message.::

"This is unit 57 calling to repost a UBO at the north entrance of Golden Gate Park. I need Star-732 right away."

::He gets his gun and gets out of the car, warily making his way to Josie.::

"Hey! You!"

::Josie looks at her hand, seeing that she cuts herself when she caught the athame.::

"Yes officer?"

"You... you, I saw you, with that thing. I saw you appear out of nowhere. I'm going to have to place you under arrest, ma'am."

::He pulls a pair of handcuffs out and walks towards Josie. In the background, wailing sirens can be heard. Because the people coming are inconspicuous like that.::

"Uhm... under what grounds officer? You seeing things?"

::Josie looks at him.::

::Val comes in, still hidden by the trees. She watches and is scared for her new friend.::

"Don't fuck around with me, ma'am. I know what I saw."

::Behind him, two huge vans pull up and several armoured-up SWAT-looking guys jump out.::

"This her?"

::They have guns. Big guns.::

::Josie looking as innocent as a new born puppy, looks at all the SWAT guys then back at the officer.::

"What did I do officer? Apart from walking to a park in my own city and minding my own business?"

::She manipulates the cop into believing he is crazy.::

::The man frowns for a moment, then glances at the team behind him, then Josie again.::

"Weird... I must've been seeing things..."

(But I know I...)

::The guys behind him start to talk amongst themselves, sounding suspicious.::

"No. I saw you. Take her, guys."

::Pointing their guns at Josie, the team of police move towards her.::

::Josie sighs, she looks as calm as ever.::

"What did you see me do? Under what grounds are you planning on arresting me?"

::Val is about to step out of her hiding place. She notes the twigs and stuff on the ground and mutes that section of the forest.::

(Come on Josie...)

"He doesn't need ground, sunshine, not for this department."

::Pulling out a pair of handcuffs, one of the SWAT guys walks carefully up to Josie, flanked by two others.::

"Now are you going to come quietly or are we going to have to make you?"

::Josie crosses her arms, smiling softly.::

"Let me think about it."

::He grabs Josie's arm.::

"In the van. Now."

(Oh my god! They're aressting Josie!)

::Valerie's eyes widen.::

(I wish I could help...)

::Josie rolls her eyes, tugging her arm back and frowning now.::

"You people and your lack of manners. Ask nicely."

::Which the officer does by wrenching Josie's arms behind her back, snapping on the handcuffs, and hauling her towards the van.::

::Josie sighs.::

"You're gonna regret this."

::She willingly gets into the vans.::

"You should read me my rights."
