Title: Cock-Ups and Twattery

kaytee83 - November 1, 2005 08:57 AM (GMT)
Ever seen a member of staff make a stupid mistake that you've been desperate to point out, and do, but they're not really quotable therefore count as spam in the quotation thread? You all have. Especially Maud.

So! Have a thread to laugh about the various mistakes of the Admin, Mods, NPCs - and even your own dumb selves.

Here's my all time favourite cock up of mine. It was in Hyrule when ghosts attacked the Paz Rescue Squad.

QUOTE (Ghost)
::Josie's leg squeals and dies, disappearing. Lirie's leg smacks her with its lamp and keeps distance.::

Someone was a little tipsy and mixed her words up! Still. The image of Josie's leg 'squealing and dying' and Lirie's leg swinging a lamp around crack me up every time I read it. Genius!

Just so you know, the 'twattery' section is for if you see us acting like fools - on purpose. I'm sure you've all seen by now when I get a little Andy-happy and she appears in a random thread doing, well, completely random and crazy stuff. Though those aren't out of place in the FQ thread, so y'know.

Ah, squeals and dies. :D

Paige - November 1, 2005 11:15 AM (GMT)
Kirdy's membership is a bit of a cock up.

Moony - November 1, 2005 11:37 AM (GMT)
*eyes* What are you getting at? And you have a special thread for me already.

Karen - November 1, 2005 11:20 PM (GMT)
I gotta a cock-up for you. YOUR FACE. HA HA HA.

Brennan - November 5, 2005 02:12 PM (GMT)
QUOTE (Serenity @ Golden Gate Park, Playground)
"Such language."

::Serenity tuts and another psychic wave throws Lirie into the air. Only she doesn't come down. She just gets higher and higher.::

"Lirie, I have disabled this 'power' you seem to believe you have. You will not be able to save yourself should I drop you. You will die. Answer my question."

Did Serenity really disable Lirie's powers? I'm not sure since she was able to transform Nathan into a puddle.

Valerie - November 5, 2005 02:21 PM (GMT)
She did. She just gave them back when Lirie said yes.

Luke - February 3, 2006 11:55 PM (GMT)
QUOTE (Piper @ Underworld, The Source's Lair)
::Piper freezes the fireball.::

"Phoebe, get over here."

Heh. Imagine what would have happened had it not have been edited to account for the other fireball The Source threw.

kaytee83 - February 4, 2006 12:25 AM (GMT)
That's what happens when you don't properly read the posts of others! Phoebe was killed in the process :P

Sharon - February 4, 2006 05:17 PM (GMT)
No-one appears to have noticed that the horny beast is still in the playground...

Aidan - February 4, 2006 05:20 PM (GMT)
Is it!? I just sent Aidan there! He's gonna get a shock then...I assumed it left with Patience.

Sharon - February 4, 2006 05:23 PM (GMT)
Ah no, people have posted and not seen it so it's kinda lost in acw's continuity already...

Aidan - February 4, 2006 05:24 PM (GMT)
I'm sure we just thought it was one of the rides...

Wesley - April 3, 2006 11:13 PM (GMT)
The ultimate cock-up, er, comes from Ryo in Aidan's apartment:
QUOTE
::Ryo glances at the cock on the wall.::

Ryo - April 3, 2006 11:38 PM (GMT)
Whoops. *edits*

Ryo - April 3, 2006 11:44 PM (GMT)
On second thought, it's too good to edit. lol.

Wesley - April 18, 2006 06:56 PM (GMT)
From the front entrance:
QUOTE (Petunius @ Apr 18 2006, 02:48 PM)
::Petunius narrows his eyes and restrains himself from hitting Luke, turning instead to Luke over at Aidan and Ryo.::

"Yeah, join the club. Most of us here have the same predicament."

Nice to know that Luke is now a verb.

Ryo - November 6, 2006 08:27 PM (GMT)
QUOTE (Aidan @ P3)
"I can..."

::She says, still shaking a little with worry.::

Luke - November 7, 2006 01:57 AM (GMT)
Julie and Andrea are going to be disappointed when they realize that the sun rises in the east.

Julie - November 7, 2006 01:58 AM (GMT)
Brad maybe they drove off to China, what's it to you?

Luke - November 7, 2006 01:59 AM (GMT)
Chinatown doesn't count. :P

Andrea - November 7, 2006 02:03 AM (GMT)
I don't get it. What's the problem?

Andrea - November 7, 2006 02:05 AM (GMT)
I think I worked it out. Is it because they're at the beach and the sea would be on the west coast of the country?

 if so.

Julie - November 7, 2006 02:05 AM (GMT)
California is West of the US.

Luke - November 7, 2006 02:05 AM (GMT)
The sun rises in the east and sets in the west. San Francisco's on the west coast.

Andrea - November 7, 2006 02:11 AM (GMT)
Lame. Maybe Julie did a U-turn on the sand and isn't facing the sea, or it's at a point where it dips into the land. It's not like you can't see the sun from the other side of the country...

But sure... I guess it was a mistake.

Luke - November 7, 2006 02:12 AM (GMT)
Eh. Who cares?

Andrea - November 7, 2006 02:15 AM (GMT)
You!

Luke - November 7, 2006 02:17 AM (GMT)
Do I really count... ever?

Andrea - November 7, 2006 02:20 AM (GMT)
I think there was this one time...

Ryo - November 10, 2006 05:04 PM (GMT)
Nope, that was a misunderstanding.

Andrea - November 10, 2006 05:07 PM (GMT)
I hate it when people post in this thread! I always get all worried and think 'pants, what have I done now?'

Poor kit :(

Paige - December 3, 2006 10:28 PM (GMT)
I'm posting this here because I know I didn't think of it, and I doubt Anissa did either:

QUOTE (Luke)
(I wonder how awkward the conversation was, considering that their bodies were switched. For all Anissa's mother knows, she recently got a sex change.)

Hope she/he thinks of something!

Luke - December 3, 2006 10:38 PM (GMT)
Assuming she/he ever comes back.

Jasmine - December 3, 2006 10:53 PM (GMT)
She's meant to be back tomorrow. Okay let's stop spamming! *bes good*

Wesley - January 4, 2007 08:56 PM (GMT)
Piper, in Havana (Whatever year):

QUOTE
Uh. January fourth, 2006.

kaytee83 - January 4, 2007 09:03 PM (GMT)
Fucking bitch. I knew I couldn't trust her to get it right.

Suffice, I don't think I've actually written 2007 out. Oh, there. Now that's gonna be a pain in the arse since my 7 key is breaking and I have to smack it to get it to work.

Luke - February 28, 2007 04:53 PM (GMT)
Old Man Azura, at the booth:

QUOTE
:: It's not really practical, they do need to save the world, it doesn't means he can't bask in the glow of how amazing it is to be engaged to Paige.::

Azura - February 28, 2007 04:54 PM (GMT)
There's been better typos.

Luke - February 28, 2007 04:55 PM (GMT)
At least now, Paige and Azura can legally get married now.

Azura - February 28, 2007 05:11 PM (GMT)
They can just go to Canada.
